None of Nintendo's games are graphical masterpieces. Nintendo is more concerned with gameplay something a lot of companies these days have forgotten. Nowadays niggas is just watching a 10 hour movie, they do everything for you and instruct you on where to go (i.e. FF13, Infamous, etc.). I'm all for nice graphics every now and then depending on the game but honestly how good do graphics have to be ? Shit if my mascot is cartoon character why would I try to make him and his cohorts as human-looking as possible ? If you tryna make games that are memorable you have to make them fun. Graphics will take u only so far until someone else tops it.

What do you remember more ? the fact that Super Mario Bros 3 was the pinnacle of great graphics for it's time or how fun it was to play that joint when you were growin up ? Nintendo doesnt have to rely on good graphics to sell like Sony does & we all seen what happened to Sony and need I remind you Sega.....

i had to c/s and quote this for trillness. been down wit nintendo since NES. my only gripe with nintendo is that they do need to improve greatly on the graphics, and have better 3rd party support. the mario, zelda, and metroid games care cool, but damn. my opinion, they dropped the ball with the wii. yes it sold like crazy. but what good is a console if you don't have any good games to go with it?

I just seen the bold and this is bullshit.Nintendo games have not evolved at all game play wise and are the most simplistic and basic designed games out of any developer. I understand that you think highly of Nintendo,but their games are not and never were so advanced or challenging compared to everyone else. All you do in Mario is jump where the two games you named FF13 and inFamous are far more challenging with better AI and a lot more going on.It seems that this excuse of Nintendo being more concerned with game play is just a term to cover up the lack of advancement in technology that Nintendo has failed to deliver. This generation Demon/Dark Souls has actually improved the style of game play that Zelda made popular,but can not deliver in this age of gaming.The fact is that Nintendo are dinosaurs and only get by on gimmicks and nostalgic fans.

But that is their niche,they are a family company and have said they were since the SNES.I beef is that they do not improve their technology,make new franchises and then hide behind things like "oh we only care about game play" and that I bullshit.There biggest selling Wii games were not ,mario,metroid or zelda and instead were crap like wii fit and wii sports which made anyone feel like a veteran gamer even though the games offered no challenge and no game play outside of waving your arms like a fucking moron.
