maaan if they bought that lazer shit back hockey would triple its tv ratings which suck cause even with hd hockey still isn't a good tv sport. when fox started that i was 6 and sober and just getting into hockey and that lazer was goat. imagine niggas drinking or smoking or whatever sitting around at 10:30 on the east coast and some west coast hockey game is on and they have lazer trackers on the puck. shit would def help the game if they brought it back lol.

Exactly. Every sport needs casual fans.

I get disgusted by casual NFL and NBA fans, but the leagues would be on ABA/USFL status if you got rid of casuals.

Shit, NBA finals wasn't even shown live until its popularity skyrocketed in the 80s.

And most times - casuals turn into die hards eventually.

Personally, I don't like Hockey because when I watch a game I don't see this fucking puck! It's too little and too quick. If i could see it, yeah maybe it was cool but anyway, there is no hockey on french TV. It's not a famous sport here.

there are more honkey's in sec football country on message boards than there are in hockey. the game gets a bad rap because the players are mostly white. but even most honkeys don't know shit about hockey.

Those "racist tweets" didn't come from boston. There was an investigation into those tweets. None of them came from the city of boston. Or its fans. I came from trolls in states like Oklahoma and shit.

I went to game 7 pens/rangers and it was definitely a different atmosphere. It was the best live game experience I've had at any venue/sport.

@ghost! yes and no. a local article traced 2 back to my college in CT. One of the kids i knew very well only my own hockey team who tweeted that who i don't even associate with at all since then. there were kids that got suspended in boston area schools as well. Some of the tweets were from racist trolls from other regions. But many of the people were "boston" fans who usually cheer on the red sox or patriots and don't know shit about hockey and then saw a nigga score and got pissed.

A former black hockey player Anson Carter was calling out people from the boston and CT area personally and ethered those 2 whiteboys from my school tracing their twitter handles to facebook. He found the teams/clubs they were a part of and put them on blast. Then he reached out to me because he knew i was a brotha on the team based off photos from our website. I salute homie cause he called out e-thugs straight out.
