starstruck? really?

dude won te fiba world championship against an olympic team with melo, bosh, wade, lebron, etc. he won a world title against kg, allen, and piece..."Starstruck" is the greatest dumb excuse ever though...this isn't even a plausible arguement lmao. Dude openly says he doesn't care about the stardom of being in la, doesn't even do that hollywood shit. Duke is a hooper, one who has bad games. thus he is a solid #2...

great troll thread thogh, it'll be plat in no time...

Shock thread.

Pau does play soft some times and it pisses me off but I don't think it has to do with being starstruck. Moreso just not being mentally prepared for big games. But that will only be like 1 or 2 games out the series. The 2008 Finals was his first glimpse of the big stage so it is what it is but he has showed me a lot since then. There have been times where I wanted to throw the remote at the TV like Game 5 of the 2010 Finals but then he comes back to earth and shows me what he can really do. The occasional slip up is alright when you have a team as talented as the Lakers. Especially playing against a weak-minded/coached team like the Heat, I honestly doubt they would win one game in the series.

Me, I'm a Lakers and a Kobe fan. But you pussies always make excuses for everything. I still hear people say the Cavs would have beat the Lakers the last two years. If this is the case why did we beat every team that beat you? Yall lost to the Spurs in 2007, we came back in 2008 and handled them. Yall lost to Orlando in 2009, we beat them in 5 games. (Matchup problems for yall, right???) Yall lose to Boston in 2010, we win. (But its a fluke because 7 games and no Perkins right?) This year yall gon lose to the Bulls most likely and we're gonna beat them or the C's in the Finals. What excuse will it be this time?? Every year it's the Lakers are lucky they didn't have to play Lebron. Bull-fuckin-shit. Lebron lucky he ain't have to embarrass himself on television again shooting 35% from the field and 68% from the line in the NBA Finals while his team gets swept.

I swear to God you cock suckas are retarded. Same assholes that got mad as fuck they couldn't irk me when the Cavs beat LA on Christmas and had the best regular season record 2 years in a row and my reply was "the regular season is irrelevant" are saying they don't care about the regular season when the Heat lose 5 games in a row but then turn around make a determination about who would win a playoff series based off a regular season game. I have a feeling that your regular season series with Boston is a lot more telling than the games against the Lakers, but who knows??

Doggy, be clear. Use your brain. Doggy... Bosh, Big Z, Dampier, Anthony, any defensive bum you want to throw at the seasoned and experienced Grizzly Gasol isn't gonna be a match for his superb offensive skillset in a 7 game series that matters. Lets be logical.

Lol at Troll. Shock thread and all this shit... Nigga I'm just tellin you how the fuck I feel and I gave legit reason's why.

Give me one reason why a dude just RANDOMLY plays like a hoe depending on the game situation? Why can't he play agressively defensively all the time? I mean literally, you could throw a fuckin skirt on this dude in the paint, it's fitting.. Its embarassing...

I have no reason to shock, or troll, or no shit like that.. I like the lakers you fuckin idiot and hate the heat. I'm just calling it like I see it...

On the BIG STAGE, In BIG GAME, Gasoft is going to pull a gizmo act and BITCH UP... It never fails.

Kobe: "I need you to be the Black swan"....

It's a damn shame Kobe not only got to pull his weight, but also coach these soft ass niggas... It must take ALL THE RESOLVE IN THE WORLD to not blank on these dudes on the floor or just quit on them altogether... Pippen wasn't a bitch, must have been so much easier for Jordan... Must be so easy for Lebron right now to KNOW he playing with somebody thats gonna come ball, and not have to tell him to toughin up...

Hell, mo williams is 3 times tougher than gasol.. Mo played with an attitude and swagger... Gasol plays like a scared BITCh... I know I know ifs ifs ifs, but here's an if since you called me a troll: Just imagine if Gasol had his SAME SKILL SET, but KG's attitude / intensity...

Wait, Im going to say it again for you fuck boys... louder this time....

JUST IMAGINE IF GASOL HAD HIS SAME SKILL SET, BUT WITH KG'S ATTITUDE / INTENSITY...

The Lakers would like, LITERALLY never lose... You know it, and I know it.... They lose because Gasol is a bitch and has no heart and plays scared and gets star struck depending on who he's facing...

Now go back and reevaluate your position on this if you too dumb to understand.

And I'll go as far to say this... All of the Lakers are pretty much bitches Besides Kobe, Artest, Fisher and Matt Barnes... Every last one of them aint got no damn heart... It's just Gasol is going to get singled out more because he's the 2nd best player, and a little more softer than the others even... Bynum plays like a big bitch... Imagine if he was mean and Nasty? Odom gets soft at times... "throw it down big man throw it dooowwnnnnnnn"... IN the words of bill walton.. How are 7 foot dudes that aren't above the age of 35 miss point plank range lay ups?

I hate this saying but, "where they do that at"? (no homo)... The shit is pathetic....

Bottom line, Lakers just don't have enough attitude when it matters... Kobe is the only one that comes to play VS the heat, and everyone else is just intimidated.

How does Bynum play like a bitch??? It was hard for him accept his role as more defensive when Gasol came in town after he was having that stellar offensive season in 07-08 (He had the highest fg% in the league before his injury).. Since, its been hard for him to adjust and he has been plagued by injuries...but trust, Drew is far from a bitch. And now he has finally bought into the defensive role Jackson has assigned to him. I think he understands that he's still young as shit and has the best center body/athleticism/skill in the league outside of Dwight Howard and will pick up the offensive frontcourt burden when Pau phases out in the future. I've seen him live in the flesh multiple times since his rookie season and I promise you dude is no joke. With Chuck Person anchoring the new defensive system and the way he's been playing since the all star break (outside of the Miami game) its a whole new level. Just picture Bynum going into the playoffs healthy this year for the first time since 2007.

Odom can be soft but I would call it more assertive. He's having his best year since he came to LA so I have no complaints with him. What he does for us has worked in the past.

Pau, I understand your gripe but you have to understand the European system that he came up in. Its a whole different style and I feel he has improved in terms of toughness. He's probably never gonna be Dennis Rodman out there but hey that's alright. I don't expect the Lakers to be the 88 Detroit Pistons or even the 08 Celtics. We're the Lakers. We're not gonna win a series being completely soft but we also don't need to be some super hard body tough team. We're talented enough to win based on all around game.

I don't think it makes sense to base the Lakers Finals potential on a few regular games. Yes, the Lakers play lackadaisical. Its a complaint we hear EVERY YEAR. No, we don't play hard every game. That's just the way it is. But the team always finds a way to get it done when it really counts. And thats all I care about. They have thick skin and short term memory when it comes to losses fortunately, unlike another team in the league *cough* *cough*.... We're good.

I couldn't agree with you more based on that assessment. Even Chicago said the Heat ain't shit. 3 times, they did. They wanna make assumptions, well, let's factor in Chicago's series with the Heat. That can be telling as well. Always been a fan of the Lake Show squads. They know when it's time to win and when it's a meaningful game they will be victorious.

Yea just like Games 4 and 6 vs boston in 2008 right....

All this thread tells me is cats really don't know sports or are half retarded or both, maybe just on this message board.

Now that I think about it, Bosh really wasn't even all that.. .He shitted on Gasol because Gasol let him and played like a bitch.. Really no point even explaining anything further... If they meet miami in the finals somehow, mark my words, its a WRAP... Unless them bitch niggas have a drink before the game and let it all hang out

Heat ain't gettin by Boston. Probably not even Chicago. Lol @ them getting taken to 6 or 7 by NY or Philly first round, and getting put out by Chicago in 6 second round. Fuck ur dynasty.

Nd LA ain't a lock for the west this year either.
