Why is there such a big distortion between the real world and the IC?

he fact of the matter is with Doggystyle, snoop was bought into hip hop history.....Doggystyle was a hip hop event...........yo can put on Gin and Juice, Doggy Dogg World.....Murder was the case....and people know the words like its 93 all over again........

niggas on the east bumped the chronic and some people bit the style of music, but When doggystyle came out, niggas WANTED To be snoop....there is a difference.....his music had affect in hip hop OFF the record.......

lets not forget here.......hip hop is a culture, not just a music......snoop put his stamp on hip hop as Run DMC made Addias popular, just as slick rick did with heavy gold chains......Just how wu tang made every other hood on the east coast spray paint some type of "W" in the street and reinforced niggas watchin karate flicks.............

Doggystyle is hip hop history.........snoop sucks lyrically, but u cant take his impact away from the game.......

Snoop didnt push the envelope musically as much as the other albums......but it had so much impact off the cd that its classic alone.....

giving reasonable doubt the classic status is like the NBA going and giving Kobe the rookie of the year award in 96 cause he won 4 championships later on in his career.......

Reasonable Doubt is definitely classic status. It just took a couple years for people to catch on. Truthfully I was fucking with Jay since Can't Knock the Hustle.
