I made this thread a while ago, alot of niggas on here don't have social lives and don't go out period. That's why i don't have a problem with alot of the shit they criticize because there is a time and place for every type of music. I aint tryna listen to no Mos Def in the club, bar, party,etc and i'm not tryna listen to no Gucci,Plies,etc when i'm in the crib or relaxing. If you were to come from another planet and go strictly to the IC you would swear Slaughterhouse, Blu,etc were the most relevant niggas in the world. lol Dudes are so out of touch with the real world, it's alot of elitist niggas thinking, the same shit happens with the indie scene in Rock n Roll.

Exactly LOL. And according to them, nobody knows or cares about certain rappers, that they swear are bums or didn't amount to anything. Not true at all. A lot of people know who these rappers are. Everybody has some form of internet or technology to look these rappers up. They just don't make an everyday habbit of talking about them or forcing their music on people.

The divide Lies in the fact you have 2 main contingents of poster those that are fans of Rap Music and those that work in with through hiphop. The rationales of these seperate groups is clearly shown in many things and even they are divded amongst themselve but still that is the biggest seperating factor...

Same thing with Eminem outside the IC how many people honestly say the things they do about him on here in every community wether black, white or latino?
The fact is when you sell that many records and are that known you generally are well recieved and highly rated by the general public in all walks of life from skools to colleges to just average Mcdonalds workers to drug dealers
No one is saying don't voice an opinion but when you do voice an opinion on here you should back it up with facts and good explinations it's pathetic to label everyone a stan that praises an Artist they like further more it's stupid cos if a person actually praises an Artist on the Ic and they explain why they like the Artist give examples to back their claim you are very un intelligent to call them a stan cos you can't dispute or have a counter argument to what the fan is saying

My point exactly. I may have said somethings out of spite and offended some people, but my main point in this thread was to identify why there is such a contrast in terms of musical taste, diversity, tolerance, and appreciation with the people i interact with in the real world and those I "interact" with online

Exactly, that's what I'm saying. For instance, throwing out a random album name, most people loved BP3 (How many rap albums you know can go platinum in today's Day and Age). I thought it was good, maybe a little weak lyrically, but good. Why is it that on the IC you see people talking like it's the worst thing to ever happen to hip hop? As many plays as the songs got, I don't think all y'all believe that, but I have yet to see anyone rise up and defend it. Is it just conformity?

There is a big difference between people on here and the real world. Some dudes on here say some crazy shit on the regular.

I just started walking again (slowly) 2 days ago and I work my business from home, so I do have an insane amount of posts on here, and I'm here all the time.
If you have more posts than me per day and you are not injured, or don't work from home.
You are probably post here 24/7 except for when you have to go to work, assuming you do have a job.
