@ Rex:

As I said before, it is not Latin America which has the highest number of illegal immigrants. It's Europeans on student visas.

More than 10 million illegal immigrants are thought to live in the United States. The overwhelming majority are Hispanic; most are from Mexico. A new report from the Pew Hispanic Center examines where and how these undocumented immigrants live and work. I need to note that National Public Radio is known as a liberal and progressive organization. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4703307. What difference does it make were the illegals are coming from. Illegal proponents are constantly trying to make this an racial issue when it isn't.

http://www.libraryindex.com/pages/2448/Illegal-Aliens-WHERE-DO-ILLEGAL-ALIENS-COME-FROM.html

But there is no major wave to keep them out.

There isn't a massive exodus of Europeans coming to the United States either. Remember the elections in the U.K. when the Gordon Brown (then the prime minister,) called a woman a bigot? What led to Brown to calling this woman a was she was asking Brown about immigration. Europeans, Africans, Arabs, and what have you don't come to America in large numbers. They usually go to Western Europe. If was a wave of Europeans coming over here illegally causing chaos, taking jobs, and depressing wages, believe the reaction would be the same.

It's mostly targeted towards Latin Americans living in the United States.

Again, where are a vast majority of the illegals coming from? Mexico, Central and South America. When you start enforcing immigration laws guess who's going to be mainly effected? Latinos. If New York have such a law most of the enforcement would go on in NYC and people that would be most affected a Hispanics, West Indians, Chinese and probably Russians.

Putting border walls up along the border of Mexico adds a racial component to the US's fight against illegal immigration.

How do you prevent millions of people coming to the country illegally. Wouldn't a good way to start is by adding a physical barrier?

This has the perception of illegal immigration as being spear headed by people who are brown, and thus, this is where the problem is with the Arizona law.

You keep harping upon this non existent racial component. I've actually posted the U.S. law that says residents have to carry their green cards with them at all times and the Arizona law. Show me those two statues are targets against "brown people."

It doesn't matter what's said in the constitution, that shit has been used in the past to back up oppression as it can be said to do now with Arizona.

Why when in the history of the country has the Constitution been used as an instrument of oppression. Saying that the Arizona law is oppressive is like saying the having to produce a driver's license and proof of insurance is opressive

It's not the responsibility of the US to stop shit.

Elaborate.

I am, however, identifying the problem is the cause of NAFTA trade agreements.

What does NAFTA have to do with immigration?

In an earlier post you said this:

FMP, polls are bullshit and biased. No adult I know is ever polled for the shit they show ion TV. Bet you 100 bucks the people who are agreeing with this law are conservative, white, and mostly middle class. I was in Arizona and a lot of people on the border I met didn't care about people coming across.

In other post King Blaze 84 posed this question:

Do you have any links to back up your claims that European students make up the biggest percentage or number of illegals?

Nope.

I saw Angela Davis giving a speech and she cited that there was a report that said most illegals are Europeans on student visas.

Speech was entitled "The Prison Industrial Complex."

Why is that you question the veracity of a poll when it runs counter to your opinion, but you take what Angela Davis has to say as incontrovertibly true. Seriously though, not to sound mean but your statement about the poll shows your ignorance of a the market research industry. Market research companies are able to make money because they're able to provide their clients with accurate data that correctly reflects the publics thoughts on issues and products. If a market research company can't accurately do this, than that company will quickly go out of business. Why do you think politicians are always taking polls, because the polls are right. In this particular poll it was probably a general sample that polled all races, ages, and political party. From there the results were broken down into their respective demographics. You have to understand something and women have a tendency to do this. Just because it isn't happening in your respective peer group, doesn't mean it isn't happening.

lol Eh, fuck me arguing a point over and over.

Polls are biased information because you can basically get a specific population who you know can give the answers that you want. A report is more of a scientific study because it's done on thorough research and observation. The reason that companies and politicians go by polls is so they can carry out their practices, no matter how unethical, simply because they got poll answers from people that they wanted.

So why hasn't any came out to say that methodology in either of the polls saying that the vast majority of Americans support this law is flawed?

Because people don't think for themselves and convinced the enemy is brown, anyway.

Around 2005 or so President George W. Bush signed the North American Union agreement without the backing of Congress and without the knowledge of the American Public. This Union will eventually combine the economic currencies of Canada, The US and Mexico. This union is being modeled after the European Union. The eventual goal is to combine the North American Union with the European Union, the African Union and the Asian Union when it forms. For some reason Wikipedia has locked all information about the North American Union. So it doesn't take a brain scientist to guess that President Obama hands is tied. He has to go along.

^^^^^ LOL......the way so many nations are in debt though, it is inevitable there will be more unions worldwide to prevent total economic collapse. A North American Union most likely will never be passed anytime soon. Any president that publicly speak about it and support it will be chased out of Washinton DC. A union like that will kill even MORE American jobs, more than what globalization has done already.

I live in AZ, "illegal" in this state is synonymous with "Latino". The wording of the law STILL has no clear way for law enforcement to determine whether to check for citizenship status of a person. It's STILL up to the officer's judgement, and since you DON'T live in this state, you DON'T get that in the eyes of cops out here, especially in Maricopa County (where Phoenix is located) illegal and latino are interchangeable words. No one stops and harasses the Somali population we have out here. No one cares about Indians or SE Asians here on expired H1B visa's. No one cares about white Canadians living out here illegally.

All they care about is sending Mexicans back to Mexico.

The law is still vague and it's still a bad look for the state. Everyone is trying to make it appear that Obama is soft on illegals, same people had nothing to say when GW let the shit fly for his 8 years.

that shit is super clear just read the damn thing. if u get stop for being suspected of breaking the law (traffic stop, etc) and show id then u r good, point blank. stop acting like a cop can just stop over nothing..making excuses and shit...if u read why obama is suing Az it's not b/c he thinks the law is racist but b/c he wants the feds to do it
deport these god damn illegals asap

you being hispanic, wouldnt get offended if a cop asked you if you were a citizen while getting a traffic ticket?

the constution says the feds should handle immigration. its in the constitution. obama is deporting more illegals than bush has. only difference is that obama works with the police to get the ones that cause crimes, and bush went to the factories and just racked any of them up.
