aight so I liked 56 nights. His type of music can get repetitive but there were definitely some bangers on there (never gon lose, trap niggas, 56 nights, march madness)...

Future's been the leader of this autotune sing-rap trap movement. T-Pain put niggas on to the voice but Future perfected the style of marrying that voice to hard trap beats and now almost everyone in the trap music scene has been influenced by him.

I enjoy it for what it is. If you want conscious boom bap music go elsewhere. Hip-Hop has as many sub-genres as Rock now, no-one's gonna like it all.

Like French Montana, I prefer when he's mostly on the hook and a real MC is trashing the verses like Pusha T on Move that Dope or Senorita on dat new Vince Staples. I will say that I enjoy his verses more than Montana's, just cuz Future will play around with the triple time flow while Montana will try n act like he really spittin profound bars lol nigga gtfoh

This kinda brings up an interesting point...in a way the hip hop "nation" is more compact than Rock is. There's hella rock artists that really hardcore rock fans probably would never have heard of because it's a whole different sub-genre then what they're in to. In Hip-Hop/Rap everything is more blended together and more tight knit so people are exposed to more elements of the culture that they don't like and feel more of a need to comment on it..

and everyone collabs together. You'll never see Coldplay ft. Metallica or no shit like that. Meanwhile Future has a guest spot on Vince Staples album. Mos Def on A$AP Rocky album. Even Insane Clown Posse collabs with Tech N9ne.

well, considering that a band of that stature has about 5-6 members, they're already collaborating on the inside. It doesn't make sense for two bands, which possibly would be 12 people (with two players of every instrument - 2 drummers, 2 guitars, etc etc) to collab. You can't compare one solo rapper to a band of 6 people. Its just impractical due to the numbers

Future nice but he aint seeing no snow man. Jeezy gucci and t.i. are atlanta and everbody else up under them. Young scooter make that trap music like jeezy, future dont

Jeezy ain't putting out no trap or die thug motivation 101 or recession quality music ... Future today >>>> jeezy today and it aint close. No one arguing careers

Did niggas even listen to Seen It All? I just listened to Future's last two projects, Monster and Beast Mode, and there's just no way you typed that with a straight face. Jeezy doesn't even have a "bad" album -- he just has albums that are better than others. What albums Future got? Not a nann nudda.

I can't believe we're even discussing an "entertainer" who can't even perform most of his catalog live, because it'll sound like shit, versus a legit rapper. This nigga needs effects on his tracks just to be worthy of y'all praise. Have any of you stopped to think about that?

And @GunTown you shut your 7-11, Big Gulp servin ass up.

You been under a rock? Even if you not a Future fan. He's dropped 2 albums.

Nah bruh. I wasn't talking about his number of actual albums, but the number of albums that are noteworthy.

I put so many niggas up on future when tony montana came out. Now he's meh.....but he's better than that walking looking disease young thug

tony montana was one of the most horrible songs i had ever heard when it first came out.

i thought it was a joke...until i saw people were taking it seriously.

hook, horrible.

lyrics, horrible.

beat? just the same as any other

Honestly I didn't understand the fascination with him either. Then I went back to Chicago and hung out in the hood and that's all they played. After drinking and smoking I realized this mf is a melodic genius lol.

If you love to party, fuck, stimulate yo mind, make money, dress expensive and reminisce about hood shit he's the man

future sounds nothing like t pain.. never seem a comparison.

future raps and sings without auto tune

You're an idiot. No, he doesn't necessarily sound like T-Pain, but almost all of his music has him utilizing some type of digitized, auto tune effect. Even his most avid fans know that.

Smh. You need to get out of the little world you live in inside your head and snap back to reality.
