It cost massive amounts of money to invest in a team to actually see return; like I said just 10% of the Lakers is 50+ million dollars; Nelly damn there nothing on the return from the bobcats... name me some rappers that have 50 million dollars to invest in a team?... Besides, most rappers are smart enough to invest in franchises instead of putting stock in a Basketball teams and Football teams when both leagues almost had lockouts and players are ready to bail overseas.

Em prolly could afford some stock in the Pistons. And I doubt the Hornets have a high share price (at least compared to other NBA teams) considering that they're always on the sale market.

i get it.
although owning a basketball team falls in line with modern rap principle because its basically a vanity purchase. it takes more than 'balling' money. its a more serious investment than expensive clothes and cars which as we have seen x inifinity is very easy for rich niggas to get.
a football team is on a different level altogether. thats more of a fraternitiy. and the owners have to approve. and the good ol boys are very selective with a heavy emphasis on image and avoidance of scandal. so that eliminates ti wayne baby etc. I seriously doubt the nfl owners would agree to allow someone like ross buy or own any part of a team in their league. emphasis on THEIR
either way the 1st step is. most rappers couldnt own a team if they wanted to or had the means or capital to
