Lmao this nigga sucked

Jim Jones>>>>>>crackhead X

This makes no sense when has Jim Jones ever crafted a classic hiphop album like Its Dark and Hell is Hot

He aint better than X lyrically either

Do you really think Jim Jones could of hold his own against Mase and the Lox on Niggaz Done Started Something

Stop gassin that average verse X verse's on blaccout, money power and respect and 24 hours to live were trash compared to the rest

X is just like pac another trash mc who gets props for emotion and those wacc ass acapella prayers more than his skills

start @ 1:44 and listen to jones zone out.then go to 3:14 mark

Now post a song where x can go in like this

this is the first true shit you said

smh @ DMX being ahead of the curve,

talkin bout that sellin your soul shit wayyy before it became popular in 2008

To answer the question: Instead of X trying to elevate his craft and cement his name with Big, Nas, Jay and Pac he allowed his wreckless drug addiction to elevate more and considering he's been an addict since his teen years, he could've been got help so that's no excuse..but in the lyric department he gruff abrasive delivery wasn't technically complex and vivid as Nas, Jay or Big. Some (maybe a small percentage) would say him and Pac was the same when it came to emotional driven rhymes, but Pac already had that emotion-flow style on lock so X would've came off as a carbon copy..but he made it work for him in his career.
