Because black people show the least interest in being healthy. McDonalds food is deadly. White people are moving on to "healthier" fast food that's more fresh. They'd rather pay a little more and have to go inside to order than pay less and go through the drive thru for something that is bad for you. Black people in middle to lower class status are still choose value, bang for your buck, and speed over quality.

By and large black folks don't have good saving habits. The average person of other ethnicities and races, well..lets not say the average. More like..a general larger sum perceived by McDonalds. Are more likely to be able to, focus on, and have the availability of grocers near by. To purchase and make their own breakfast lunch and dinner.
Where as a larger sum of black folks work 9 to 5's, and spend less time stocking the cabinets with the type of things you could make several meals from. And by and large are looking for something quick and filling.
Marketing is a larger part of a franchise budget, to get the bang for their buck. They look at their perceived statics on that and figure blacks are the most likely to spend money at McDonalds. The focus being more on being filling than being healthy.
That's not to say that this isn't true for every race, it's just what their own studies tell them. They put the money where the money is at. It ain't really racist if you consider if the habits were larger among other groups they'd do the same to them.
