Naming your kid Laquana, or Chiniqua is as ridiculous as naming your child Blue Ivy. Unless you're going to give your child a true name of African origins with meaning, stick to good old fashioned Anglo-Saxon names.

It's advisable for white/black/asian etc.. to not give their children cute or unique/made-up names because it makes YOU feel special and you are being ultra clever.

You are giving your child an unnecessary strike against them in dealing with the adult world.
