2pac>>>>Biggie Smalls>>>>>Jay Z

IMO 2pac's music was way ahead of both but both Biggie's Albums are better than Jay Z's best Album

and all three >Eminem and his cartoon raps

Jay Z even today has not sold anywhere near as many records as Eminem, 50 Cent, 2pac, Outkast, Snoop Dogg and other Rappers

So it's no surprise if you think about it his whole career so many Rappers have outshined him as far as record sales and popularity and fan base

So yall wanna compare a indie label dude to two well established rappers who both had classic albums before his first major debut. Nobody knew who the fuck he was nationally so he had to pay his dues.

Hell on Earth > Reasonable Doubt.. that is all..

Co sign 100% and even though Reasonable Doubt is Jay Z's best Album, Hell On Earth isn't even Mob Deep's best Album The Infamous is

I think Murda Muzik is also better than RD

I think AG and BP are Hov's best albums.. but yeah, I think The Infamous is better than RD as well..

And as for Murda Muzik, I think that album is slightly better than RD, being that it sounded more cohesive than RD..

Reasonable Doubt aside from my personal opnion by general consensus universally is considered his best Album easily. 7/10 Album where as both Hell On Earth and The Infamous are classic 10/10 Albums and Murda Muzik is 8/10

The Blueprint is definitley his second best Album and American Gangster is average

Its not that big a mystery, he just didnt have the juice yet... The quality of his music improved after they were gone so he benefited.

I doubt however he wouldnt have improved had they not passed, he'd of gotten better and still had been rich today with just more stories to tell.

Still a satanic ass nigga, no change...

Reasonable doubt dropped in June of 96. After Dead Presidents #1 and 2 he was on his way to blow up. Pac died in September 96, he was blowing up by the time BIG died in March of 97, he was sharing stages in NYC with BIG, and they both were considered hot. So I don't really understand where your going with this question...

smh.

only on the IC

this is like asking why didnt Em blow up on his first album.

Maybe cuz only a select few do that and its only with major labels backing them albums(50 Cent/Game)

The Slim Shady LP has sold around 5 million and made him not only blow up but an instant super star and My Name Is was a huge Hit. C'mon son what world you living in

Reasonable Doubt didn't even go Gold for a very long time

Infinite was made before SSLP

and it didnt have a major backing it like SSLP

point proven
