Easy answer.. Everyone can't be GOAT at once.. Everything has it's time and place.. Funny thing is that half the dudes named as being the GOAT back then would jump at the chance to get picked up by Jay now.. Regardless of how he pairs up to Big and Pac, you don't reach the levels he is at without being somewhat good.. Just my .02..

deep in hip-hop at that time for Jay to compete,Fugees,Tribe,Busta,Nas,Wu,Raekwon,Ghost,Meth,Redman,Ice-Cube

Scarface,Master P. Tupac and Big were just way more popular and if they both live,especially Tupac I don't think Jay

would be AS successful as he is because Pac wasn't gonna allow it. I definetly think Big would still shine because he

was Pac's equal but at the time Jay was looked at as a little nigga.
