Why can't or why won't Blacks participate in other Sports?

Tennis, golf, hockey, racquetball, lacrosse polo, bull riding, extreme sports, soccer, rugby, swimming etc.. all of these sports are participated by mostly White non Black people even though there are no written law that says we can't participate in them but we still won't participate for the most part because we no not to cross that line. But why shouldn't we cross the that line?

do we need to go through your above list and start naming the ones that DO have prominent black athletes playing them?

I was thinking more in terms of sports activities that is available in the Urban community that youths can participate in. But if you have a list of African Americans that play in these sports I would seriously like to see it.

As the popularity and the visibility of lacrosse increase, the diversity in the sport lags behind. Just 1.9 percent of Division I men’s lacrosse players are black, according to the most recent N.C.A.A. study. One of the teams (Duke) in this weekend’s men’s Final Four in Philadelphia has one black player, while another (Cornell) has none.
