While I agree with you in part I must say that the majority of Outright haters reside on the East(50cent and Company is a prime example) and only a Handfull of the NYC scene(not just talking about the rappers look at the Dj's and hell the fans on this site)embraces the rest of us nationwide...

They are very clickish/clanish, they view boroughs similar to the way we do our hoods.

I was sickened by how one of the NY'rs used a racially insensitive remark towards you "go milk a camel", as if your swarthy complexion and facial hair would somehow indicate that you were from the middle-east or a desert bedouin. NY hatred toward a brother.

The strongest hatred that has ever existed in HipHop is the divisive and disgusting hatred of 50Cent. 50Cent at his peak could have unified NY HipHop after selling 8 million records yet he chose to beef with all the major NY artists...he has since made a name for himself by dissing his own members of G-Unit (Game-WestCoast) & (Young Buck South) a truly despicable human being.

Most recently the violent and Timberland-footed New-Jersians have been attacking Haitians! ...just like they did Tupac.

The fact still remains that those that are considered wack NY rappers such as Maino, Mase, and Mims are as good as most average Southern artists. And this is coming from someone who lives in Miami, our music here is absolute trash. Most of our big names (Rick Ross, Ace Hood, Iceberg, Flo-Rida) are terrible at worst or average/slightly below at best (Rick Ross).

Apart from Outkast who from the South is fucking with rappers like Redman, Raekwon, Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Big L, Big Pun? If Fat Joe was from the South he'd be in the top tier of Southern lyricists and thats true shit.

At Least Miami admits they are as wack as fuck and has never been the same since Uncle Al Died, NY don't even admit they have gone downhill (with the exception of Jigga, Nas and some good artists) since we lost biggie, big l and big pun.

But we in the south notice it so much more coming from northerners towards us. Like they feel this need to tell us how wack they think our whole way of life is. And a lot of times, they form this opinion without really even knowing what they're talkin about. They just pick a few artists they hear on the radio, or see on t.v., and think that's the best the south has to offer. No, that's just the niggas who made it, for whatever reason. And even then, they can't seem to understand that those mainstream artists still make catchy relatable songs, however lyrically deficient they may be. Just cause you don't get it, doesn't mean my taste is bad, or I'm slow, or that you're superior to me. It just means you don't get it. If you don't wanna get it, cool.
