u right tho i cant argue with that thats y im living in miami right now cuz rent...i was paying 1200/month in ny for a 1 bedroom apt and now im paying 800/mth for a 2 bedroom duplex wit a front lawn n shit but i was just talkin about life in general, u feel more alive in ny theres always ppl outside u dnt have to hop in a car just to go get dutches from the store...other than the rent and weather the south wack as fuck to live in for a young cat like myself..

I hear ya bruh. I'm in SC myself. From what understand tho the salaries are higher up north to compensate for the cost of living but still that's a helluva alotta money you guys pay for housing. I think ill be living in the south for rest of my days, I'm just not with all that huslte and bustle of those major cities up north. NY is a great place to visit though, it was really a culture shock the first time I went.

Yea it's just different styles of living. If I'm accustomed to NY all my life of course when I head South I never really wanna stay more than a Month. You say you stay in SC right? Nigga one time I had to drive into NC just to get some liqs because they stopped selling it at like 7-8pm. I think I was in Rock hill. Then when I be at my house (my parents own) in Walterboro, I called to have internet setup and the appointment was like a month away from when I made the call. I was like damn. You probably come up here and see crowded subway trains and mad cars and people and after awhile wanna go back South. Cultural differences, sometimes niggas are too defensive to just accept it as that and keep moving.

ny is cool. its just to fucking cold. i was born and raised in hotlanta and anything under 60 degrees is cold to me. i fucked around and took a trip to ny iny jan with my wife to visit her brother. she is from illinois and he has lived in ny for decades. these stupid mothafuckas were walking around lower manhattan in jan from 6pm to about 3am non fucking stop. we were literally walking. like outside, in the cold, in ny, in jan. walking for hours on some sight seeing shit. lets just say that winter time will NEVER catch my black ass in ny ever again.

LOL yea the Blue Laws here are stupid. You cant buy liquor after 7pm, and the liquor store isn't open at all on Sunday. Hell they just started letting us buy beer on Sundays a couple of years ago. I respect the differences tho because its good and bad wherever you go.
