WHY ARE BLACK SHOWS SOOOO TERRIBLE?

Most networks won't invest the time or writers in a all black show because we always complaining and never satisfied.

Big Bang Theory averages 19 million mixed viewers, picture that show with an all black cast with the same writers and black people would complain about how whack it is.

The Real House Husbands show isn't bad at all, i thought it was funny. As for black shows, it's because of the budgets and bad writing. You can tell everything is cheap, from how the sets look to the quality of the cameras. I think a lot of the poor quality stems from lack of funding in Hollywood and short cuts.

Take for instance The Game, you can see the quality declined once it went from the CW to BET.

It's all funding, HBO funded the Wire. Problem with Hollywood is they don't think black shows/movies will work, and for the most part they are right.

I think it's alot of writers that write about black shit instead of creating scripts and characters about "America everyday life shit" think outside of the normal "black shit"

Like Scandal the show that comes on ABC or modern family...my homegurl likes it that Scandal show and I've watched a few shows..now that's something that's different and out of the norm...drama and suspense type shows..we don't have that within our shows or movies...Safe House is another good movie...It's sad when the Cosby show and Different World is still in my dvd record que..

I'on know folk...I guess you can say same movies, but I will say that they touch on all elements of man kind when they make their movies.. meaning white folks have a broader selection when it comes to making their movies and characters... disease outbreaks, aliens, infidelity, vampires, Hell vs Heaven, psycho path killers, Saw..comedy...etc..the list goes on...it's the elements that they touch on to make their movies...The Matrix, The movie about 'time' that separates their movies from Black movies and shows

All black movies majority of them touches on comedy and relationship guidelines and hood shit...or old slavery (historical) movies....Name me an alien black movie... A good movie that was on a different element platform was The Great Debtors but I guess it can go back to what you stated about having an audience for those movies...All my friends like to laugh...So a black movie about going to Mars wouldn't make money

Many of us watched the movie The Hang-Over...movies like that..we need to make movies like that...with that comedy in them
