Poetic Justice > nobodys perfect> cant get enough and work out

Doesn't matter what you think, just know that Work out went platinum, Can't get enough went gold, and Nobody is perfect went platinum.

Ya'll going to be in for a reality check when Kendricks album sales comes in.

nobody's perfect didn't go plat

am i the only person who see the similarities between what people were saying about J Cole and what usmarin is saying about Kendrick?

this would be 100% correct..

But cos J Cole is on Roc Nation and under Jay Z Usmarine will automatically ride his nuts same with anyone who was signed by Jay Z to the Roc Uncle Murda, True Life, Memphis Bleek, Peedi Crakk

Theres only 1 Roc Nation Rapper signed to Jay z he doesn't stan over and hop on his nuts K Koke

You should be worried about your so call white god inability to muster up a album on the level of Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, Ready to Die, Amerikkkas Most Wanted, etc.

Drank is a stupid song though. I've heard better tracks from K. Dot

"stupid" ...smh ... some of these descriptions people give make no sense .. you must just be at a lost for words or something ...

Actually that's right lol.

Seeing as I'm a K. Dot fan I tried to like the song but its nonsense, I'm beginning to think it was a mockery of what is being played but I don't think so.

To be fair Work Out was shit. It just reminds me too much of the Kanye song which I also didn't like. I didn't mind the Trey Songz track as much though, he switched his flow up on that, which was the track's saving grace.

Lights Please & In The Morning should have been singles even though they were old. I also wasn't a fan of Drake being added to the latter but that's label politics for ya.

I listen to his first 3 albums and Recovery start to finish with out skipping any Song and enjoy all those Albums miles way more than any Album you just mentioned there. It's those albums you just named there that i don't listen to or enjoy listening to regularly especially RD

But we're not though. How much did ab-soul sell? And he still had a better album than cole. Cole is probably my fav "new rapper" behind Kendrick but none of the shit you're saying matters. Cole makes great SONGS. but he's not as good of a lyricist as kendrick is and he's not as diverse. Kendrick has different flows/cole doesn't, kendrick can rap fast/slow cole can't, kendrick kills all his features/cole doesn't. You keep on questioning if he can do what cole can do but that doesn't matter to us. Workout was trash and the only reason I was happy he came out with it was because he got some exposure and deserved good sales. You keep bringing up sales because thats the only thing you have left now that k dot's debut shitted on coles. Future has the #1 song in the country right now and you wanna bring up "singles", fuck outta here

Can Kendrick do what J Cole do though, make those commercial records and still lyrical.

Work Out was lyrical?

Stop being fucking stupid nigga, i didn't say it was. I said he can still be commercial (platinum singles) and be lyrical (see Rise and Shine, Looking for Trouble, Sideline Story).

Platinum singles? nigga Jay ain't have a plat single until 04 when 99 Problems peaked. You mean to tell me if Kendrick drops songs that does well on the charts that doesn't go plat, then he doesn't have commercial appeal?

Big songs like Swagga Like Us and H.A.M. didn't go plat by the way.

the same reasons he was saying cole was gonna sell are the same reasons he saying kendrick won't. I know because I was in there defending cole just like I am Kendrick...

record is conceptual and extremely clever ... has a good beat and a catchy intro.... meshes a topical track with the party vibe and still fit within the constructs of his albums story ... but hey .. everybody aint gone like everything

Exactly straight facts just like there is barley 2 Jay Z Singles that don't have an R&B Singer featuring on the Hook doing the Hook for him

I'm glad we're at the point now where things I said 2 years ago are coming to fruition.

Yeah it's not like J Cole will ever go Platinum or have a top 10 Charting Single these are things he never ever will do or achieve
