Lyrically Kendrick is not that advanced He makes good use of perspective and it really adds a level of depth when he speaks from other perspectives but that's nothing J.Cole hasen't done Kendrick is getting praise right now cause he has good production I've seen people on youtube trying to say that Swimming pools is genius level lyricism I have no idea how those two 12 bar verses could ever lead you to believe that. That's why lotta people think J Cole is boring cos of his Back Pack Rapping style but the worst thing about his music that makes him the most boring is his really weak production
