Ja Rule made the bigger impact. He sold more records and at his peak he was more popular.

But Rick Ross is better at rapping.

I got 5 no signs.

Do you guys really think Ja Rule is a better rapper than Rick Ross?

Its not even close, ja has better flow, better lyrics, better hits, a classic under his belt.....ross is wal mart of rappers, cheap and generic

Plus i can get through a ja rule album in one sitting, i have never been able to do that with a rick ross album

I feel the opposite. I think Ross has a better voice and a better flow, but I'll admit Ja had some catchy hits when he was in his peak.

And I consider Deeper Than Rap a classic. I'd say its better than any Ja Rule album.

In fact, I can't make out what Ja Rule is saying half the time, he really does sound like the Cookie Monster.

I remember listening to Clap Back and I couldn't make out the words.

Rick ross doesnt have a flow, it literally sounds like hes talking and raising his voice once in awhile

But lets have a discussion, ross is somewhat a mafioso rapper right? He has to be the worst mafioso rapper ever, compared to kool g, jayz, nas, big, raekwon etc

Ja rules debut venni vetti vecci was widely considered a classic before the whole 50 thing

Im in the minority but i think ja's disses against 50 cent from blood in my eyes are better than 50's disses even though he lost overall, ross's disses are just lame

Last ross verse i heard was from scarface deeply rooted with face and nas, ross just sounds out of place, like an amateur trying to rap with professionals

I like the way Ross flows. He keeps the tradition of the steady flowing MC like Rakim, LL Cool J, Kane and Kool G Rap.

He's not like the new generation of Southern rappers that all have a southern drawl and pronounce words all wrong.

I like Ross because he doesn't sound like a Southern rapper. He sounds like he's from NY.

No the fuck he doesn't. Ross sounds nothing like a New York. He sound like he from the land of make believe

Rick Ross been relevant for twice as long as Ja. He actually sorta came back when niggas thought he was dead. Y'all just hate Rick Ross

Ross doesnt sell though, so he hasnt fallen off but hasnt blown up either.

Don't worry sir Imma flip the shit out of this for you tomorrow. You gonna see how the Reason bias works in real time. Imma let niggas cook for now.

Yes, play Venni vetti vicci. JA at his peak was a better rapper than ross, flow, storytelling, content and aggression. Ross still nice but ja at his best was a different monster. Nigga was a double edge sword street shit n girl shit flawlessly...until 50 came, by then 50 was the underdog..everyone roots for the underdog.
