I'd nominate 2 Live Crew. Not sure if they'd get inducted on the first year but they paved the way for, well, rap with a lot of cursing and heavy 808 bass.

The Broward County Sherriff's department tried to ban the 2 Live Crew because they were "obscene" and they fought back all the way to the Supreme Court and won.
