That's like looking up the definition of the word "Dope" and trying to compare to Hip Hop term "dope".
Complete and utter nonsense.
Nigga What? ...lmao ....cats cosigning this dude tho ..lol
It's true.
Lyricist in poetry sense and Lyricist in a Hip Hop are totally different.
so now hiphop lyrics aren't poetry ... :wtfgif:
you need to go look up what a "literary tool" is and see how they apply to all forms of written language bruh bruh... cos damn...
If that's the case Kanye West is lyrical, too.
Hip hop definition of lyricism is different from dictionary definition.
If it was the same, 2Pac would be the best lyricist, you got a lot of people who disagrees with that.
A lot of people. A LOT.
What about Trick Daddy or Pimp C? Are they lyrical?
Lyrical means wordplays and abstract lyrics in a hip hop sense.
Pac was good at the content, not the actual wordplay.
This is why I love Hip Hop so much, because to me content doesn't matter.
I care about skill, Pac was just a great songwriter.
do you even know what word play is guy?
