Okay guys I am not liike the Young Money stans or the Shadyteam I can actually compare Nas album with some other albums.

Okay let's start.

Illmatic the best album that drop 1994

It Was Written the best album that drop 1996. Did OB4CL drop 96? If it did it's the closet one

Wu Tang Forever 1997

1999 It's between I am & Murda Muzik.. I am big fan of Mobb Deep as well. I'd say I like Murda Muzik more than Nastradamus atleast but not sure bout I am.

2001 . STILLMATIC NO DOUBT.. Probably my favorite album

2002 GOD SON & LOST TAPES

2004 Street Disicple or The Hunger For More... I also love BANKS!

2006 HIP HOP IS DEAD also i fucc with Food & Liquor

2008 UNTITLED NO DOUBT

2010 Distant Relatives

2012 LIFE IS GOOD

Already got a thread series for that bruh, aeom/killuminati won best albums of 96.

this is like comparing baseball to football. a nas album gonna be a good game, but a jigga album is an event!

i listen to music while i work, but only nas's first 4 for me. but a greatest hits mix is needed for the rest.

i can listen to any jayz album anytime.

Nas and thats factual. Just honestly listen to the shit. Nas is more versatile and creative and lyrically better. And Oochie Wally > any Jay-Z song in the club, even if the sun don't shine. Jay-Z is great, just not greater than Nas.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FOH

Im just posting in this thread right now to let yall know I really REALLY fucking tired of this debate. we need some new comparisons in this bitch

almost time for us to start to ignore this same ol debate huh?

i promise not to post in one again if u do.

pinky swear?

For me, it boils down to Jay having more subpar albums than Nas. Since coming back from retirement, Jay´s only had one strong album. Add to the fact that illmatic>>, its not that hard of a decision. That being said, Jay still has one of the best catalogs in rap.

"Man, I remember them motherfuckin dances."

Jay Z has the better one.

Dude just makes better music, has a better ear for beats and can adapt with the times.

Nas is a solid rapper but he's boring as shit.

btw Blueprint 2>>>>Ether>>>>Takeover

but both Takeover and Ether are overrated

quick question, do people on here really think

Illmatic>>>Jay's life(career)

cuz if you do you're sick

Illmatic is significantly betterthan anything Jay-Z has ever done. I think Jay-z might even admit that.

Illmatic

IWW

God's Son

Stillmatic
