Yeah, denying this is a problem in the black community is lying to yourself. All races have problem children, but behaving badly in school has somehow become engrained in the culture of young black kids. It was bad when I was in school and it's ten times worse now. Hell damn near every female in my fave works in education and they all work at black schools. They will tell you that these kids nowadays are ridiculous and just don't care anymore. They will also tell you, a large part of that is their upbringing because their parents really don't care either.
You know what the worst part is? If the students don't do well on the standardized tests or flunk out of school, it's usually blamed on the teacher. Yet, teachers have their hands tied severely as far as how much they can discipline the students. Hell, when I was in elementary school, teachers could spank the kids. Nowadays, your ass is going to jail if you even look at a student wrong.

I admit there are problems in the blk community ,though I believe.
You guys are blowing it way outta proportion,but those problems are result of
politicians making bad decisions,by locking blk ppl out of the real economy.
in the 1930's-1950's when the middleclass was being establish. this lead to mass
poverty that had to remedied with social programs that created a negative counter culture of dependenciy.
All you guys are doing is blaming the victim, even with all that said the ppl who are causing trouble are in the minority.

I think we need to teach our youth though. Our society depends on an educated population. We gotta teach these kids whether they wanna learn or not.

I don't see what the problem is.Black kids are terrible students.I went to school with them so I know and I seen physical confrontation between black teachers and black students.The average black kid acts ignorant in school,FACT.
