The bigger issue for some Whites is advertisements such as this represent a changing world; I remember growing up I only seen thin White women with straight hair as the universal standard of beauty in these ads.

Nowdays I see more and more women of color doing these type of ads and being seen as equally if not more beautiful than these same White women who were formerly the old standard.

Some White folks also see this as a threat to their privilege and supremacy, but the world is changing and minorities seek to be acknowledged gone are the days when this country was just the majority White folks and everyone else.
