Just taking this post to give a shoutout to @KingHassan ; had a nice lil convo about how he cares for his daughter's hair a while back. Very receptive listener to tips most of which he already knew *applause*. Great father.

So, yes, there are Black men out there who care for their daughter's hair. Also fully agree with @Bawse D. Lox. SooooooooOooooOO many Black women slather filthy perm chemicals/hot combs/flat irons/texturizers/weaves in a child's hair...but then again we are taught we have "bad hair" and to hate it so it's a vicious "fix it" cycle. They shouldn't even have to aid in maintaining shit that shouldn't be in there anyway. Meh. Just don't cast everyone in the same boat. I get your thread premise, though.
