I don't see how Rex would be on the hot seat.

Rex IS that team, they are in NY, they need a personality like that to not get overshadowed by the Giants. Jets been on the backburner for Y E A R S

Not to mention they made the AFC championship the past two years. No other AFC team has done that, and the Jets aren't even the most talented team. That's pretty impressive by itself.

"Oh but they didn't make it to the SB" Oh that's funny cuz in the past two years neither did 25 other teams. And outta those 25 Jets were the closest.

He got some time. Wait until they don't make the playoffs till he's even being considered for a firing.
Like I said the leash is short for the shit talking he does.Who cares about making the AFC championship game when your rival still owns the division and has won 3/4 super bowl appearances. The Pats are still the class of the AFC East and the Jets are just hype.there is a reason why The Ravens passed on Rex as the head coach after Brian got the axe.

last time i checked the Jets eliminated the Pats in the playoffs... so they can't be THAT much hype... but i agree unless they change QB's they ain't doing nothing but making alil noise

The jets have been to the AFC championship the last two years and Rex's 1st 2 years as a head coach. They were sorry before he got there and players love playing for him. Its safe to say his job's safe

First off how would you even know. Secondly, like I said, his personality is perfect for this type of team. NY media eats it up. His bravado is not a hindrance, it is a plus.

Who cares about making the AFC Champ game? U serious? Umm... how bout EVERY team in the AFC?

And lol @ talking about rivals when your rivals, the Steelers, have pretty much owned your division even better.
Since 2008-09? Steeler got yall beat 6-2. Since 2008-09 between Jets-Pats? JETS have a 3-2 lead
Not to mention the Steelers have the most Super Bowls of any team in the league. So.. don't talk about rivals. Get past your own first.

The Pats are arguably the class of the LEAGUE, and that doesn't say anything about the Jets, it says something about the genius of the front office and the coach of the Pats.

Buts it's funny though, Pats haven't won a playoff game since 2007 while the Jets have won four. Oh by the way, the Jets kicked them outta the playoffs last year.

And Ravens passed on Rex huh? I'd say Rex job security > Harbaughs right about now.

Kubiak will be gone regardless IF they make the playoffs...unless they win the AFC South.

He should've BEEN gone after last season's total late-season meltdown.
