incorrect sir..

I remember we (Clippers) played the Grizz last season at their home and the fucken arena lights went out in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

This is while the players are on the court.

Took about half an hour till they fixed it, we came back basically to an empty arena.. and they beat us.

At the time the lights went out, we were up by about 14 and we end up losing.

I started thinking maybe these niggas play better in front of nobody.

I like the Grizz though, I dont mind them.

I'll give you the wolves and pacers but the grizzlies been toward the bottom of attendance for the past 5 seasons so what money are they bringing in

Wolves maybe, but Pacers got a credible history, I wouldnt want them gone.

They got some fucken die hard fans plus the Reggie Miller era makes it hard for anybody to just kill them off.

I remember the Bobcats started out and they picked Gerald Wallace and Primoz Brezec and Eddie House and a bunch of other 9th-12th men..

What was the condition regarding which players they chose to sign from other teams?

Might as well not even bother mentioning the Nets. They're not going anywhere.

Their new owner is committed to spending the money he needs to build them into a contender, plus in another couple of seasons, they'll be playing in Brooklyn in a brand new arena, and the NBA isn't going to pass up getting double the revenue from the largest sports market in the country.

Raptors because of Canada's high taxes. High profile athletes don't want to play there because of the taxes and cold weather. Plus the team has no history of success, so they'll always be a door mat in the league because a history of not winning will not draw good players through Free Agency. But I doubt Stern will contract them because he's trying to globalize the NBA, and expanding into Canada was just a start.

The Clippers should move to San Diego, but it's better they stay in LA because of the fans who can't get Laker tickets will bite the bullet and buy Clipper tickets just for the experience. So it's that trickle down effect. Staying in LA, at least they have a built in fanbase and won't have to worry about the expenses of moving a franchise and trying to sell the tickets to a new market. At least not in these economic times

The other team they should contract is the Hornets. Once Chris Paul leaves, they'll have nothing and the fans will not have an interest any more. The only reason why NO even has a franchise is because they tested that market by putting a few games there and the public responded. So yeah, it looks good to sell out an arena when you don't have a team there in the first place. But once you put a team there that had some success early and then it starts to fall apart over time, players not living up to expectation, a coaching carousel, and the superstars starts bitching and hinting at leaving, how long will it take before it can be rebuilt before the fans lose interest?

Raptor fans are the most loyal and top 15 in attendance in each season (from 2003) so I doubt that they would be abolished or relocated. The team has had numerous successful players but management for the longest time was to blame for those players leaving or requesting trades. The whole weather excuse is B.S cause its the same as the Northern U.S states but the higher taxes take into account that the education and health care systems are better than those of the U.S which I really don't know how that would be connected to an NBA franchise. The team has made the playoffs on a couple occasions compared to some teams out there who haven't made it for years.

Timberwolves - move them to either Las Vegas or St. Louis

Las Vegas would NEVER work for an NBA team. Do your research, fam.

That was the dispersal draft.........all of the other nba teams gave up their "scrubs" on an eligible list; Charlotte chose from the list of "scrubs" and hit a couple of home runs. every expansion team does that.

All the teams that's worse than the Bobcats and niggas is saying CHARLOTTE? I guess people don't know why the NBA went back there. Look up the Hornets attendence records in the 90's.

What do the bobcats have to lose? Might as well put all them players in a pool and let the other teams have at them, pause

This team is like what, 7 years old? Already made it to the playoffs...the only problem is that Michael Jordan is a horrible owner...favorite player all time, but he sucks at evaluating talent, drafting, just everything. But the Bobcats are a Brook Lopez away from being a problem in the league...FUCK DJ AUGUSTIN and MJ

brook lopez is a future star in this league and i'm glad y'all passed on him, although if y'all would have taken lopez him and okafor would have been an interesting front court.

Memphis & N.O., The Clippers make too much money, and the Raptors are the NBA's only international team. Memphis & N.O. both seem to be in markets that can't either or don't want to support a pro basketball team. Hopefully instead of contracting one of these teams, maybe they could move on to Seattle, or Las Vegas.
