Kanye is def top 10 hip hop artists.......he makes great records and albums.....definitely one of the most important hip hop artists of the last 10 years.....more important to hip hop than wayne or eminem.....he is the first mc since ATCQ other than Em to make great records without trying to appear gangsta....he is a trend setter...has longevity....and is socially one of the most concious mc's....if you listen to his albums that is

Kanye is top 25, slightly below Jay (top 20), but above Wayne/Eminem (top 30). With 2 more good albums, I'll put him right up there with JayZ.

I don't know if I'd even put Ye in my top 25 of all time, let alone top 10.

Kanye makes some great albums, but no where near the best off all time, skill-wise.

Plus, Rhymefest and Consequence were allegedly helping him write lyrics in the beginning

Kanye is the greatest hip-hop artist of all time IMO. And note that I said "artist" not mc .lmfao @ somebody putting pac in the top 10 but get mad when people put kanye in thr top 10. I wonder if kanye was dead would he get the same respect. But anyway how is jay not the goat "rapper" we all know he hast one the best flow and delivery in hip hop history and system has 12(about to be 13) albums. That's more than any solo artist in history let alone raper. Give credit when credit is due

Sounds like a personal issue my friend. Who came out around the same time as ye and constantly released great to classic albums? (808's is a personal fav but isn't classic just good) Stop bullshittin with yaself. In about 5 more years when jay is wrinklely and Wayne dies of AIDS who could you honestly say will be better? Maybe cole but that's in due time.
