what gave u the opinion all black people have naturally nappy hair..because if you seen my baby pics around 5 I still didnt have nappy hair. My hair got nappy when I started to get perms...thats the first time I ever saw my hair nappy. It took me years to get my real texture back.. I stopped perming my hair, my real texture is back, and it's not nappy. It can look kinky sometimes but it's curly.

I think that people call thick hair nappy or curly black hair.. nappy hair is just hair that isnt taken care of , and the reason why most black people had nappy hair was in slavery, or when u see the africans starving in the 3rd world countries they cant afford to take care of their hair, so they are not brushing and combing their hair, thats why it become nappy.
