Whats the longest you've gone without a job?

6 months but I had GI bill pulling in 2200 a month going to school with health insurance for a year.

So the real question is when have I ever lived as an adult and not had a check coming in. Never!

yep i chilled out for an entire year when i got out the AF before i even started looking for a gig, unemployment + post 9/11 GI bill FTW!

I never felt so worthless and motivated all at the same time. But I had stacks saved up, so I had time. Even still...it just didn't feel right.

Seriously I've been working since 5. My father ran a child sweatshop on us until I was 15 and old enough to get another job. I'm in my 30s. Next year will be my first time in my life I will not work. I'll answer your thread then.....
