Waist of time. Niccas clearly don't give fucc nor does the court. As a man though u fight for your name and reputation . This is why I don't understand why rozay has such a following. Rozay hasn't incorporated any of his real life into his music.

Square nigga..how da fuck do u know???

Seem the Real Rick Ross argument is that since there is continual and multiple infringements the statute of limitations is not expired in regard to those offenses. He must be on to something otherwise officer Ricky wouldn't start using the name Rozay all of a sudden

I put speech marks over 'his' because has he really got grounds on this unrelentless pursuit? And according to Californian Law claims have to be made within the first 2 years, so the ship been sailed...And the same can be said of Curtis Jackson and his use of 50 Cent and countless other rappers...

And Noriega been alive and still is to this day.

That's not the same the real 50 cent was dead when the rapper started using it and that's not his government name. People need to understand that this is dude government name we're talking about not just a nickname. How anybody could say the real Rick Ross is in the wrong for this is beyond me.

Is he the only nigga in the world named Rick Ross..?

He's clearly being stubborn about it, he prolly wanted Ross to cut him a check or giving him a piece of the pie, by including him in his business, cuz I agree that its pointless at this point, seems like he's trying to target Ross's career and image more than anything else, cuz he ain't winning that kind of battle in no court in the world, specially given his background...

This nigga Rozay completely stole this nigga government name and iz literally rapping about his lifestory and selling it to kids. Some

dont even realize who the real Freeway Rick Ross is lol. Cmon my dude, if you gon fight for anything its gotta be your name. You can't steal a nigga identity and not pay homage. Rick Ross the rapper need to pay up like he did dem GD's and thats just the the facts

He is losing every time he fights this, and if he somehow wins in the end his Lawyers is going to eat his money all up

I can see why he would be pissed, I mean I can just imagine his fustration when he introduces himself to people...

Restaurant: Good evening sir, how may I help you?

F. Rick Ross: Yes, I'd like to book a table for two tonight, I'll be coming in at 8.

Restauarant: Sure, that won't be a problem sir. And what name should I book it under?

F. Rick Ross: Rick Ross

Restaurant: Oooh... you mean like the rapper?

F. Rick Ross: NO LIKE ME MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!! GODDAMMIT

lmao I knew somebody would come with this shit. Two people having the same gov name is completely different from one man taking another man's gov and using it for his brand. You wouldn't have a problem with a rapper just taking your gov name and using it as his rap name?

The reason why I disagree with that bs claim that he pleads to judges all together is bcuz when he 1st got out he said Rozay should've pay homage to him for using his name & since that never happen he has a problem with it.

That same situation you just posted was going to happen regardless if Rozay paid homage or not. It really seems like the nigga is whining cuz he didnt get any money. If you're really are trying to seperate yourself from that image & do the right things, the ppl that matters will notice.

All they see is you going to court for money, crying like a bitch.

Hell yeah he whining because he didn't get any money, he would probably be cool with it if he was being paid. This is some business shit dealing with brand licensing, you think Mattel would let Colgate put the barbie name and image on toothpaste without getting paid?

Bad comparison

Nah it's the same idea, he probably would be willing to let the fake Rick Ross use his brand if he was being paid and there's nothing wrong with that. I'd keep pushing it as long as I could, the fact that this is even really a debate makes no sense to me. It's the man name.

Its Rozay PROFITING off his name that is the issue here. If he picked a name at random like say Rakim did (who's gov is William Griffin) it has nothing attached to it that Griffin can benefit from so there's nothing to complain about. However Freeway Rick has a reputation and that's what Roberts is using to profit.

If I became a rapper and named myself Martin Luther King and rapped about having a dream, protesting etc I guarantee you MLK's kids will sue me...and probably win too, because I'm using his image and name to sell products. Difference is...I'm sure the King family have some legal protection (copyrights, patents) on the name and Freeway Rick doesn't.

This is a bizarre situation...however if the nigga don't have standing he needs to have a fuckin seat and save himself all these legal expenses. I'm surprised the label hasn't made Rozay just make the change by now, usually this sort of controversy over names are cleared up pretty quickly outside court.

I doubt MLK's kids would have a case b. If that were true wouldn't Gucci Mane be paying all his money to Gucci Inc.?
