To me Chrisette Michelle is what Mary J Blige used to be, she provides that feminine energy and soul-sista sound that can make a track timeless.

I really want him to succeed, I want these labels to see that the South is more than just chitlins and shotguns.

Realisticy his options are slim, Wale failed with Lady Gaga, and the big-wigs look at that shit when they give you a budget and sponser your project.

I know you will laugh but I think a Drake & J. Cole collabo would be tremendous...but then again I think Sean Garret and Keri Hilson collabo would too

labels aren't patient anymore which is somewhat understandable but i feel wale and j cole have the tools to have longevity in this game. so basically the labels need to set a certain number for what they feel cole and wale can realistically achieve and see what happens.

wale put up decent amount of numbers the first time for the label to invest in him again, and cole is getting started.

I didn't like the Keri Hilson song much, but that and another single (we don't know what hits he already made before turning himself in) should be enough to get him near platinum.

The jail/gun charges might've actually helped Paper Trails sales. I know he had Rhianna and Timberlake on singles for that album, but the entire controversy/MTV special was big too

This is my main point... but some how im mad at TI.... *shrugs* niggas dont like the truth...

how can you speak the truth when you don't know it yet? he may not move 500,000, but you don't know that yet. I made references of past times when cats said drake wouldn't do something & he did. I'm not comparing his buzz to Drake I'm just saying you don't know what will happen until it does happen. he may not move what I said he would move. I don't know & you don't either. you act like your word is the gospel. I have said I don't know what he will do, but you make it seem like you're the machine behind the music & since you said it won't happen then it won't happen. I hope the brother does continue to be successful whether it's music or film. I like his music & I think the brother still will be successful. you're acting like I'm saying he'll be the biggest artist next year. This is not what I'm saying. Real talk the only reason Wayne and TI stayed relevant during their jail time was because they had videos and songs being released throughout their stay in prison. This kept them in the public eye and made it feel as though they weren't really gone. This time around Tip was out for like what? 3 months? How many tracks and videos could he have done in that time period to help him stay in the public eye during this stay in prison. His relevance will take a hit. Trust me
