if you don't see the differences between a) the image Tiger portrayed versus the image this "Jesse James" portrayed and b) the popularity and economic clout of Tiger versus that of Jesse James ... well, i don't know what to tell you.

Tiger is or was a global icon. The most famous athlete with the "good guy" image and he did something that pretty much everyone would agree was wrong. He ruined his image. Jesse James was wrong, but he doesn't have the status as Tiger. It must definitely suck that Sandra Bullock's Oscar is bittersweet. It's great that she won it, but the movie she won it for was when Jesse James cheated on her.
