Ask some of these guys who love to criticize anything made with Jay's name on it. It's currently a 4.5 mic album. Why hasn't it been Re-Rated to 5. I think its classic but I wanna hear what y'all think.

I like "Justify My Thug" Change Clothes" is one of the worst songs in the history of music. With that said this is Jay-Z's second best album ever easily I may add. Better than Blueprint, Vol 1, American Gangster (which are all classics mind you) so that is where I am at with that. Senior year high school I remember getting off the bus to go to Magic Disc in Carson to grab it ran into the homie Brian working at Ralphs. Got the album went to another bus stop looked at the booklet, and got home to listen to it right away. Great stuff bro.

Those two songs are the only wack ones. Had a feeling he only bought those bum-ass beats because he wanted to let people say they produced tracks on the "last" Jay-Z album. He should've called American Gangsta the last hurrah.

Seriously, though, any song with Pharrell on the hook is typically ass to me. Except Shake Ya Ass. Then again, Prime Melyssa Ford in a video = Me supporting whatever the music was.

**Bold-Songs that I could've done without.

I've been visiting and posting in the IC since 2007 and it shocks me on how much this album doesn't get its props. I personally think this album was a perfect way to exit the game. (That is until he returned with KC from which I hear is horrible) I still listen to this album from time to time and feel that I missed out on one of the greatest albums in the history of Hip-Hop. But, why doesn't anyone call this album a classic from Jay?

every song is classic except moment of clarity .. hate that em beat messes up the flow/vibe of the albim

I don't mind change clothes, it's the definition of a 3/5 song though. He should of kept IGNORANT SHIT,GET MY SHIT OFF on the album and substituted them for CHANGE CLOTHES and JUSTIFY MY THUG.

Lyrically Justify my thug is good, the beat is absolute garbage though, Quik came with that weak shit.
