well lets dissect that for a second.. you swear there's this choice gay people make that renders you exempt from all sympathetic attachment from that fellow human being...rap doctor;4079068 said:so why would i sympathize with somebody over something they chose
but notice how many times it was done while people shook they shit in agreement before i came along, all outta pocket by doing the unthinkable & quoting actual facts to back up what i was saying... apparently making it note worthy...haute;4079123 said:Cosign
The I've suffered the most so look at me tactic is annoying no matter who does it
You're not gaining any ground or changing anyones mind by being a victim
Mvpbrodie93;4067085 said:I just don't like how they try to compare the gay rights movement and the civil right movement
"your black you should know about discrimination"
Shit pisses me off
copperkid27;4067061 said:if someone took offense to the way u were u would take offense too...its a natural human reaction....doesnt bother me as long as they dont compare there plight with others
Q45T;4067136 said:I've never liked that shit... and all that "African Americans should be more sympathetic towards homosexuals" is bullshit.
the people brave enough to speak on shit that might hurt to hear are rarely championed.. & the ones who are don't always deserve it in high insight.... MLK' was championed as a dependable & trust worthy voice of a generation @ the same moments he was fucking around on his wife.. a champion doesn't try to unify the world while betraying the closest person to him/her..haute;4079123 said:The fact is our country will evolve as many others have, and this won't be an issue some day
But when that day comes no one is going to champion the person(s) who made their argument by comparing themselves to someone else's plight
because like the issue of gay unions, inter-racial marriage was @ one time illegal but the law was rightfully deemed unconstitutional & therefore overturned.. these couples were denied the right to a pursuit of happiness guaranteed by our nation's founding documents but thankfully was made right. my issue is with the obvious hypocritical dynamic of cyphering off rights to those who politicians think will work well in terms of votes to float them into the next however many years... the whole time pandering to the dim witted bigots who actually think homosexuals are that way because they have gay demons who control them.. or as you put it:Idi Amin Dada;4079467 said:Why is he bringing up interracial marriage? I would have had the same argument.
Idi Amin Dada;4079467 said:The world doesn't owe you acceptance. It doesn't. It simply owes to not discriminate against you regardless of what people believe..
but you can remedy that with cologne...Young-Ice;4079820 said:people get offended by me all the time... i don't make a fuckin parade about it though
Kay.;4079515 said:Same thing, different wording.
Unless acceptance to you = endorsement.
CapitalC;4080116 said:Wow did that nigga say he chose to be straight.....what type of shit...
I'm a straight black dude and I don't understand how the black civil rights movement isn't the same as what the gays are going through today...
Like it's literally the same thing to me....
then again somebody on here started a thread wanting a straight pride parade....which made me think about another thread that asked why it isn't cool to have slaves but people got pets...
Please tell me I'm just not gettin the joke...
actually, whether or not that was their intended effect, the argument that we all as american citizens should under the constitution be afforded equal rights no matter our race, creed or color has a residual effect over the course of a generation or two to in fact do just that.. & as getting older has a tendency to do, the extremely hardline opinions one might hold dear tend to soften as the years pass by...Idi Amin Dada;4079974 said:Rhetorically speaking, the civil rights movement did not seek to change opinions.
what? too many big words for you??rap doctor;4080273 said:@Rusty im not reading your titanagraphs...better learn to paraphrase
so which is it.. because "im not reading your titanagraphs." [lmgao @ titanagraphs] would mean you'd be completely unable to cherry pick one sentence to pick apart..rap doctor;4080273 said:but i did see you say "why would anybody choose something detrimental to their health" ?
because their life is most likely shit anyways so a life sentence would mean they @ least have 3 meals to eat per day & a warm place to sleep?? it's called taking a calculated risk..rap doctor;4080273 said:Why do people commit crimes knowing the possible outcome is life imprisonment ?
because nicotine provides a jolt your nervous system that it craves after continued use & that's besides the fact that they [in some folks opinion] make you look cool plus they don't kill you instantly..rap doctor;4080273 said:Why do people smoke cigarettes knowing they're bad for you ?
they could be.. there's 90 year old muthafuckas who've smoked all their lives & still have no traces of cancer to show for it.. smoking doesn't effect everyone the same..rap doctor;4080273 said:both detrimental to their health, no ?
rap doctor;4080440 said:IM not going to argue with you on what its like to live the fags life cause i never lived it. I know its a choice, you think you were born that way......word to Gaga
In the end, you cant prove me wrong or vice versa
well actually, bothTruerap;4080475 said:Wait rusty shackleford you gay?
Or
You just cool with a lot of gay people?
exactly.. free will is but an illusion.. that's probably the only true guarantee available..Young-Ice;4080509 said:How can being gay be a choice when free will doesn't exist to begin with?
rusty shackleford;4080520 said:well actually, both![]()
shit.. the coolest gay person i know happens to be my mom..

hmm.

the reason for the comparison was to set the record straight in case everyone here besides myself forgot how to add, subtract, & read the newspaper.. in jamaica right now, i'd be murdered on sight.. in the middle east, i would be murdered, if not on sight, not long after my arrest. iran has a covert police force dedicated to hunting down homosexuals who will face a public hanging for the crime of loving someone else if caught. many parts of africa would lock me up for 25 years because of something i have no choice in.
^so pardon my defense & it's abrasiveness.. but enough is enough.
