salvation is pretty much a gift for being faithful and true, everlasting life is also jsut a reward to being faithful and true.....it's greatly appriciated however not my motivation for being a christian..
my motivation for being a christian is to allow God into my life and have him work through me...and the more that happens the more i see changes in my life, and the more i feel God is pleased with me,
these things are achieved i feel by learning and studying god's word, and digging a little deeper to really try our best to understand our purpose in life....it's all about our life here on earth...we were created for our life here on earth, we werne't created just to live eternally one we leave, we were palced here for a purpose, and it should be in all of our best interests to serve that purpose while here on earth.....
I feel the reason I see these changes aren't because of my deeds alone, i feel these things because I feel that I am in God's favor to lead my life this way... I see change because I am making strides to lead my life in the way God would have me to lead it...my personal salvation is achieved by living in God's favor, not by my deeds alone....my desire to be a good husband and father I feel is God working through me....giving me an oppertunity to show others how good God is...
it's that testimony that may inspire others, which I feel is my purpose, and it is my goal to achieve it
