You named the exceptions ( Jay, Nas, Eminem) but I could name dozens of Mcs that only lasted two or three albums.

The hot new artist comes and goes. It's uncommon for an artist to stay hot over 5+ years.

And Snoop is a cultural icon but correct me if I'm wrong but he hasn't had a hit since Drop It Like Its Hot back in 2005.

It seems like once he started dissing them that's when they quit doing stuff. That and they milked the 50 beef to death. They should have dropped a studio album together after the puff argument on hot 97. It's disappointing for someone who once called themselves a hardcore fan of these guys to realize they are plain lazy as hell.
