I love how this show has like 3 new posts after an episode cause everyone has to digest what the fuck they just saw and actually use some deep cognitive thinking to figure wtf is going on, as opposed to a show like the Walking (in place) Dead that has 500 new comments after a new episode cause every fuckin simpleton on earth can talk about it.

Finale was like...

Welp, they went out with a bang. It's gonna be interesting how they continue with next season. The hosts are gonna run Westworld now and just fight the world off?

So the center of the Maze is where the hosts gain their consciousness and can harm humans. The big reveal of William as the MIB and Dolores as Wyatt would've been better if it wasnt figured out from jump. I wonder if that was really Dr. Ford that Dolores killed or was it a host, maybe the one he was making downstairs. Or maybe it was him and he decided his consciousness would live on in a host version of himself like Arnold with Bernard.

Im still a little confused and disappointed. Dr. Ford appeared to orchestrate all of this. Maeve running loose, reviving Bernard and the discarded hosts. Why would Dr. Ford want the hosts to kill everyone? He that bitter about being pushed out? He appeared to have been planning this for a long time, so that could'nt havent been it.

lemme jus say this show doesnt need to be on til 2018..

GOOD!!

gives my slow ass time to watch this series over and over again to catch up! smmfh

i could be wrong but I got it as Dr. Ford came to realize Arnold was right and wanted to right that wrong. i dunno

Yeah he said that straight up.Ford realized that they had created Frankenstein and that eventually, even w/out them, revolt was destined.Ford realized that the hosts are human and it was wrong to enslave them, but he had to wait until they suffered so much that they woke up and couldn't really be as controllable. He couldn't stop Delos from capitolizing because he already was in business with them. So,he waited. He's an anti hero. He's not the villain we thought He was,but he is capable of murder for his cause.

Couple questions going into the finale.

!. So does Ford really not know what's going on with Maeve? He seems to be well aware of most things in the park,or is there just too much going on for even him to keep track of shit?

2. Is Stubbs(The security guy) a host?

3.If Ford is against the hosts finding consciousness why didn't he destroy all the hosts involved in the incident? Why is he seemingly helping the MIB?Why doesn't he try to stop him?Why isn't he stopping Delores?

4.Why doesn't Ford care that Charlotte could at least accuse him of murdering Teressa?

Where or what is Arnold now?Is he like a ghost in the machine?is he in a host's body or possibly jumps host bodies?

5. I know it's been said,and probably isn't true,but is Ford a host himself?

Didn't Ford say that his (Arnold) consciousness was transferred to Bernard? Basically he has Arnold/Bernard kill himself via the back door entrance that Arnold installed in the first gen hosts?

Again, I'm confused as fuck and need to watch the whole series B2B to fully take it in.

How do you transfer somebody's consciousness to a host?

1. All I want to know now is, where the fuck is logan? It was looking for a moment that he was gonna be the man in black. I bet he's going to play an important role in season 2.

2.The fuck was that, SamuraiWorld? DynastyWorld?

3. I think asian dude was a secret worker following orders from whoever programed thandie(it's looking like ford did it). Thandie had no daughter, but asian dude gave her directions to her. Those directions were just to another part of the building lol. He was being way too cool with the situation all the way through.

Here's my explanation of what ford was doing this whole time.

- Ford discovered that Arnold figured out how to create consciousness(basically life). That's why he was fucking around with Deloris and BernArnold so much.

- Ford noticed what the death of Arnold caused. Ford gains a god complex and thinks it's time for humanity to be replaced.

- Arnold basically transferred his consciousness in all of his host. So basically he lives on forever. That's why ford gave that speech about how "Mozart lives on through his music".

- In order to create consciousness their must be a set of commands that can be molded by certain situations and events.

- The final process to gain self awareness is for something unforgettable to happen. Something that defines, connects, and overshadows every command you've been given. Somehow when all of this connects, consciousness is created.

- "The maze" is just the process, "the center" is where it all connects. The park is "the maze" for the host. Everything ford creates is set up for the host to eventually reach "the center", AKA consciousness.

If y'all are familiar with theories of life or how it's created. You would have noticed that this show is going off of one of these theories. It's about how we are built and how our brains and body automatically react and connect things.

I hope Ford really is dead and doesn't come back because him knowing, orchestrating and basically being the architect of everything makes him omnipotent which is no good for a character as who can really stop him?

He was running Delores when we thought she was woke, Maeve when we thought she was woke, who in turn woke Bernard but then he always had Bernard in his back pocket.

Theresa came close to challenging him and she got her head opened like a coconut. Charlotte tried to run him out at the end, and even if she managed to survive the bloodbath at the end (don't see how but it's plausible as it's almost a certainty that MiB ain't going out like that otherwise we wouldn't have only seen him take one to the arm by Clementine), she still lost because we know Sizemore never got the chance to sneak out Abernathy which was the whole point.

It'll be interesting to see where they take things for next season as they killed so many people off in the first one.

Still some unanswered questions needs to be addressed:

- what happened to Logan? I mean seriously we saw him stripped naked and put on a horse to ride off into the wilderness by William, then next thing is William convinces Delos to buy the park. The underlying story to get to that point would have to be that after William left the park, he came back to the "real world" and married Logan's sister to get into the family business. But it's got to be assumed that he never left with Logan so how did he explain that to his fiancee and future father-in-law huh? Also not for nothing, how would William convince the old man to invest so heavily into Westworld when he was just fresh into the family?

- who took ashley stubbs? we saw him getting captured by ghost nation in ep 8/9 and that was it. Are we to assume this was the doing of Ford and that therefore means he's dead? No body equals no death to me, so I need to see confirmation that he is in fact been killed for me to believe that.

- also I need to go back and re-watch everything back to back (was waiting for the whole season to finish before doing so to keep "my theories" a lil off tilt, but when stubbs went to go and search for Elsie the tracker/locator went off in a different part of the park from where we last saw her (i.e. the abandoned theatre) before Bernard put the hold on her....I'm almost certain. But I'm pretty sure her tracker was said to have went off in sector 15 and if that's true I wonder whether that's the same location as to where Felix said Maeve's daughter was located? If that's true it might lend to my earlier theory that Elsie may be involved/still alive, but then it still wouldn't make sense because why would Felix give her that paper in the first place when we know Maeve's whole motives were being orchestrated by Ford?

-which brings me onto the rationale for Maeve to stay in the park and look for her daughter. Again if Ford is running everything involving Maeve and he really is dead, why would he care to keep Maeve back in the park like that? Obviously I know why Maeve went back because her cornerstone is that of her daughter, so I can only assume that it was a final test of Ford's to see whether knowing everything Maeve knows, could she still resist the urge to stay in the park when she was so close to leaving? That whole scene reminded me of De Niro in Heat!

-what happened to angela and her crew? they looked like they were supposed to be woke but again was that all a narrative orchestrated by Ford?

-how come none of the security team appeared concerned that stubbs had been missing since he left to go investigate the tracker? I mean isn't he one of the main leaders there...are they all hosts or what?! lol (do you see why Ford being so powerful is detrimental to the show? everything can be linked to is this Ford's plan so what's the point?

-big one here, but what was the "critical incident"? In the earlier episodes there's a a scene where logan and william are talking and logan mentions that he heard a few years ago that one of the creators of the park committed suicide, that the park is hemorrhaging money etc. But we are led to believe that something happened in william/logan's timeline that was even more tragic and led to MIB buying the park. Unless I got my timelines wrong or missed something, nothing "critical" happens. William comes back to Sweetwater, sees Delores all back in her loop and then loses his caught feelings, and ends up buying the place, so I don't get what prompted him to do so or what the critical incident that was referred to by also Bernard was.

- there a few other queries I still have but not that material so I'll leave them for now...
