No the East isn't "weak".

The premise of this thread is artists that debuted AFTER 1999. The hottest East Coast artists had already been around before 1999. People like Nas, Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Mos Def, DMX, The Roots, Camron, Jadakiss, Raekwon and Ghostface >>> anybody from any other region but they're ineligible because they came out before 1999.

Nas's work from 1999>>>> anybody from any other region.

Its not the East Coast's fault that The South didn't start poppin until a few years ago.
