We have a low fireplace, but she is tall. Already in a size 9 shoe and she's 10.
When I was 10 I was a 6 in shoes but by the time I was 11 I was already a 9. My feet sprouted. I stayed a 9 and I'm 5'6. She will probably grow up to be 5'7 or taller.

So you do the same as I do. I buy two pair of shoes every 6 months. My son is in a 7 and he is 9. 6 months ago he was a size 6.
