The fact that a Homosexual is the face of Hiphop today angers me. Aint gon lie, shit gets me livid. 1st we had a racist crackkka, then a Coon/snitch now we have a homosexual smh! Hiphop is Dead. We need RZA & Ghost and the Wu family to raise hell on Young Money. I am proud to say that i aint bought no album of that Gobblin/drug addict.

I'll give Wayne credit, he knows how to jump on trends to stay current. Be it being a crip, then a blood, then a Dipset/east coast style, then rocker, then skateboarder, now emo. Lets hope the next trend is a coherent rapper.

Weezy is Trash. End of story.

Not angry...

It's just sad that garbage sells.

Skill wise he been fell off tho....popularity? He getting bigger
Took the words out of my mouth.

Shit, if this would've been an album on c1 or c2 level and he was sellin a millie first week I'd be happy for him
. I bumped c4 2 or 3 but after that shit was just old and lacked replay value. I find the singles Nicki dropped from Pink Friday more enjoyable than most of that album.

shit you can tell he's fallen off skillwise. did you hear that im a boss remix? how the fuck did birdman sound better than wayne? shits crazy

i wish that we had the dedication 1 and 2/drought 3/empire leaks/dip south wayne on top, but if jay-z's "want the old me? buy my old albums" cop out is good enough for him, then i guess its good enough for wayne.

t/s you do realize that just because wayne can sell million+ albums today doesn't mean that he will "never fall off". word to nelly, 50, & ja rule.

2 of his last 3 albums have been sub-par. eventually casual fans will move on if he keeps droppin poor music.

i hope wayne steps his game back up and release some better albums, cause hate or love it, he is the voice of this generation.

I'm very well aware that album sales doesn't mean that he will "never fall off" which is why I noted things about his reinvinting himself, his team, his youth, his consistency, and his uncanny ability to sell even as the quality of his music may have declined.

Nelly is still moving 250,000 units with a 3X platinum single as of 2010 so he hasnt fallen off totally like a 50cent/JA-Rule who can't get a song on the charts.

Not mad at all. I've only bought 1 Wayne album in my lifetime. But I respect Dude! And when he did that lil' video fiasco a coupla months ago about keeping it real I respected Him even More. I've always held the premise that he is this Generations LL Cool J. When L was banging we loved Him. But we still allowed room for other, More meaningful acts. Thats how I feel about Wayne. He may make you nod your head. but there are other artists nearer, and dearer to the heart.

LL was innovative, creative, and a trend-setter. He was labeled as a sex symbol by the ladies, but at the same time, dudes knew not to try him. He'll hit you with a I need love, and turn around and let his peers know he's still the best with the I Shot Ya shit. There were not more meaningful acts than LL. He was the King is his own right and inspired damn near every rapper after him. Wayne is not on the level of LL.

Wayne is like this generation's JayZ. He follows trends, he's forced on the fans, but at the same time dude has talent and he's great at marketing himself. No one is going to say Wayne is wack, the same way they won't say Jay is wack, but at the same time they don't compare to the tier 1 emcees that they're rated on par with. If you disagree then you're pretty much admitting that you can't see things objectively. Most people in that 24-35 range thinks Jay is a GOAT, the same way 13-18 think Wayne is a GOAT. It's literally the same thing, it's just you guys are on that elitist shit where your pop star is better than this generation's pop star.

Wayne has been in the game since the 90's, so comparing him to people that came and went is stupid.

It doesn't bother me at all. I don't listen to his music anymore, but I'm happy for the brother making legal money. He'll most likely be around for years to come. I wish the brother the best.

Without having read the op from the title alone it's apparent that t/s is completely out of touch with Hip Hop in 2011, delusional, and quite possibly a homosexual

My brother MuMo.

I don't condone bisexuality between men, I think it's a filthy practice "Dookie Love on a Hershey Highway", and if Wayne supports or promotes those activities then I am against him.

If Rza, Ghost, or the Wu attacked LIL Wayne they would be labeled as bitter-old-hating-niggas jealous of LiL Waynes success and dominance,
Every fan under the age of 23 would rally against the Wu and call them dust-heads and wannabe Chinamen.

Waynes popularity has veered into the Pop/Rock realm were he's viewed as a pop-icon and rock-star were they embrace androgyny, hedonism, homosexuality and drug-abuse, so he is no longer held to the strict constraints of HipHop culture.

He's the first singer-rapper-rocker-skater-banger in the universe and the publics fascination with this phenom is at a fever-pitch and unless he overdoses on cough-medication or is killed in a tragic blimp accident I don't see him falling off any time soon.

It's a lot of anger in this thread. Lol. How long has it been said Wayne will fall off???? He isn't going anywhere. We are looking at history in the making. The modern day Jimi Hendrix. We should be happy to be able to tell our grandkids that we witnessed a legend like Tune. They will read about him in their history books so they will certainly be asking you about him.
