2 of his last 3 albums have been sub-par. eventually casual fans will move on if he keeps droppin poor music.

i hope wayne steps his game back up and release some better albums, cause hate or love it, he is the voice of this generation.

I'm very well aware that album sales doesn't mean that he will "never fall off" which is why I noted things about his reinvinting himself, his team, his youth, his consistency, and his uncanny ability to sell even as the quality of his music may have declined.

Nelly is still moving 250,000 units with a 3X platinum single as of 2010 so he hasnt fallen off totally like a 50cent/JA-Rule who can't get a song on the charts.

Not mad at all. I've only bought 1 Wayne album in my lifetime. But I respect Dude! And when he did that lil' video fiasco a coupla months ago about keeping it real I respected Him even More. I've always held the premise that he is this Generations LL Cool J. When L was banging we loved Him. But we still allowed room for other, More meaningful acts. Thats how I feel about Wayne. He may make you nod your head. but there are other artists nearer, and dearer to the heart.

LL was innovative, creative, and a trend-setter. He was labeled as a sex symbol by the ladies, but at the same time, dudes knew not to try him. He'll hit you with a I need love, and turn around and let his peers know he's still the best with the I Shot Ya shit. There were not more meaningful acts than LL. He was the King is his own right and inspired damn near every rapper after him. Wayne is not on the level of LL.

Wayne is like this generation's JayZ. He follows trends, he's forced on the fans, but at the same time dude has talent and he's great at marketing himself. No one is going to say Wayne is wack, the same way they won't say Jay is wack, but at the same time they don't compare to the tier 1 emcees that they're rated on par with. If you disagree then you're pretty much admitting that you can't see things objectively. Most people in that 24-35 range thinks Jay is a GOAT, the same way 13-18 think Wayne is a GOAT. It's literally the same thing, it's just you guys are on that elitist shit where your pop star is better than this generation's pop star.
