BIG popularity has decreased over time, where as Pacs star seems to grow bigger, maybe more to do with music or personality or both....

I don't think Big's popularity has decresed. He just released a movie that did 50 million worldwide. That's a lot of moeny for someone people don't really care about anymore? People are still sampling Biggie's voice and lyrics. The fact that both "Born Again" and "Duets" Sold millions of ablums off recycled verses is a testment. "Hypnotized" was just used for a trailor in a movie. Pac definitely left behind more material but Big legacy has grown over the years.

As for this thread, Bad Boy was going to rule 97 no matter what so Pac would have had to go back to the drawing board has they both lived. Fans would of still brought "Life After Death, No Way Out and Harlem World". Do people think those albums would of flopped?. Competition would of been very strong if Pac and Big for that matter lived. Yes, Jay Z, Eminem, DMX and even NaS careers would of been different. Pac and Big were 24 and 25 at their deaths. They had a lot of years to grow but it didn't happen.

I wouldn't say Bad Boy was going to have 1997, Pac had some shit cooked up with The One Nation Album, Makaveli Records, The Outlawz and They had that Death Row East about to happen. It would have been a split year, Pac's death stopped alot of stuff that was about to happen, we will never know.

from my general point of view the fans tend to support Pac over BIG, i just get that vibe....I watched the BIG movie, which i thought was a big injustice to Bigs legacy and the story was told wrong.

i feel due to pac working harder in the studio and covering more topics he will always be one up on biggy in terms of fanbase...
