Lol @ Gucci didn't help his career

Nigga nobody didn't know who you was until Gucci brought you out. I just remember that nigga as that dirty, scrawny, V-neck wearing nigga in the background when OJ pulled up to freestyle for the camera

if he believe that, he's just as "crazy" as Gucci is. Not too many artist blow up off have a ENTIRE song on somebody else's mixtape (his 1st single was on "The Movie Part 2)

i see both sides but where were these comments when it was all good? Gucci was big uppin up in interviews. I remember seeing u all young and skinny on them dvds. Hell I remember Gucci pushing u in 2010 when u performed Lets do it way before it dropped in JD's old club in Tucker ... I think something else had to happen for it to get to this point

i knew who waka was before i even new he was associated with gucci..i'm sure being on his label helped some but I don't see it...it's not like waka moved a rack of units nigga got some street hits and makes moves off that

Waka? What you mean the dusty ass nigga 8 seconds into this video below?

Gucci brought waka to the game, period.... Yea waka blew up on his own musically, but it was still gucci who financed him and even put him in a situation to blow up....

Gucci made Waka, Nicki Minaj, French Montana and Yo gotti.... He put all them motherfuckers on, and probably a few I'm forgetting... They should all be signed to his label.

I co-sign that except fa Gotti, that nigga been on, niggas was on Gotti in the Sip and Bama religiously before Gucci even took over the Southeast, im talmbout back 2 da basics and all that even life, mr tell it and all that and waka put french on but still no gucci no waka

I see folks in here are trying to rewrite history again.

"Oh Lets Do It" came out when Gucci Mane was locked up. Before that song nobody knew who the fuck Waka was. There were no promotional guest features. There was no "Flacka got an album coming soon".

He was signed to Gucci's label but lets be real here. Gucci rode off of Flacka's hype when he first got out of jail.

Niggaz bringing up that OJ video. None of you niggaz knew who that was until Flacka's album came out. There was no "this is Flacka" on that video or none of that shit.

i was fuckin wit oh lets do it, dreads and golds, and down ass girl before salute me or shoot me 1 came out and it took a minute for salute me or shoot me to come out and them shits was on so icey is an army vol. 1, and the album came out much later than the mixtape and i aint neva even heard that nigga album, I also remember him bein wit Gucci on DVD's that trapaholic 1 aint the only dvd Gucci had Waka on, when i first found out about oh lets do it i was like this nigga rap now, he useta stay hollin that nigga name out

Now as far as mainstream go, you might be right but not necessarily cuz wit no Gucci there is no Waka or Debbie(I know her family been in the business but does it really matter i aint neva heard of her till gucci, who was her big acts in the mainstream?), if Gucci didnt blow up mainstream no OJ and no Waka, i damn near wanna say no Nicki, Gucci had that bitch turnt ova down this muthafucka, all i heard from her wit wayne before that was that wack ass cant stop woint stop freestyle and she was on that wack ass east coast shit, gucci had that bitch turnt

Waka made a smart decision to move away from Gucci's bullshit, but foreal, I don't think anybody would have know who he was if it wasn't for Gucci Mane

when "oh lets do it" blew in the winter of 10' I had no idea who Waka was and Gucci was locked up.... His record blew while Gucci was behind bars and when Gucci came home spring of 10' Waka had already created a following.....

btw i'm not just posting this just to be posting it.... it's being posted because it's 100% factual.

but o let's do it came out on the movie pt. 2 which was a gucci mane mixtape

a mixtape that came out right at the start of gucci's stardom

waka benefited from that, not gucci

Waka saying Gucci didn't help him with his career is like Silkk The Shocker saying Master P didn't help him with his career

Lol at Nicki in a solja boi video, gucci had that bitch slummin

I wish I could find that one where Waka dissed young money while he had his arm around Nicki

I think yall giving Gucci too much credit.

Flocka's mom brought Nikki to the south. And yea, Oh Lets Do It is a hit record on any label.

If any of yall tell me you knew who Flacka was and/or Gucci mention that nigga at all you a got dam lie.

I'm still waiting on any1 2 tell me they heard Gucci promote this nigga at all.

Yea he shouted him out on at the beginning of Cocaine Cowboys 2.

i already dont like his music but he gon say some shit like that

i cant fuck with that, i only knew about him cause of gucci and bricksquad

he talkin crazy now

Gotta a feeling this will hurt Waka career...him being affiliated with Gucci kept the streets listening too dude..well at least me...now this dude saying stuff like this..real ngas know the situation and that's going to hurt dude from a street stance...oh well...I saw it coming..

Young Scooter up next...think this will do him justice...that Columbia song is heavy in the clubs now in my area.....shit takes the party to another level
