Thats part of the reason things crash and we get recessions and everything during Republican terms. You can be greedy but how greedy do you need to be? Everything's connected. Those things made the recession worse you can argue that however the recession would have been coming regardless because what really caused it were the Long Term policies that were set up before Bush came to power.
