She's haitian her first language is creole among spanish and english which was the issue the prosecutors focused on and vilified her for they were wrong for that. I have known individuals of haitian descent who spoke perfect english she was unfairly mocked and targeted for her perceived lack of articulation that differs from American dialect.

I posted this on another website, and like I said, she's way low on the list of blame:

Blame the Sanford people department for their negligence in even wanting to take this case forward.

Blame the Black Panthers for attempting to make this whole situation worse by putting out a "bounty" on GZ.

Blame the black community as a whole for not thinking this case through logically, and instead, clamoring for blood, not justice.

Blame the media - mostly TV - for following the black community right over the edge with them.

Blame the D.A.'s office for not coming to their senses, and seeking the right charge of MANSLAUGHTER all along.

Blame the prosecution for presenting THE most terrible case I've seen in recent memory, and for letting that jury of that make-up to be set.

Trust me, the Contra Spread gun goes around on this. But mostly:

Blame the sheeple who got fired up for two months about this case, went to ONE rally/protest, and then like so many other noble causes, let this whole incident go mostly unnoticed, like it was all a just another fad to fight for TRUE justice.

THIS is why the Egyptian and Brazilian population won their causes. THEY stayed the course, and didn't let up on their governments.

What makes her stupid? She wasn't even 18 years old sitting on that witness stand. She was still a child. Realistically, this was prolly her first time in a courtroom and dealing with the legal system while having to recount the death of her friend.
