Biggie was a beast... I remember back in the day hearing Lil Kim songs and shaking my head knowing Big wrote it. Then she would drop songs after he died with his verses in it.

He raps about the same stuff Chief Keef raps about.

Actually not really. When Big raps, he's always basically doing storytelling or a narrative like an author. Chief Keef is just rapping to be rapping. If you listen to the song basically the intro is one of the crew members of Junior Mafia got shot and is barely alive in the hospital. While visiting him he gives Big the information for who did it to him. Big leaves the Hospital with his crew and they find the guy that get it. The then throw him in the back of the trunk and drive him to a very dangerous area of Brooklyn. They pull him out and Big is basically telling him everything he could do to his family for doing what he did.

Before Big kills him he tells him he will go to his home and kill his entire crew chilling on the Stoop. See Storytelling. The guy on Junior Mafia did not rap it the same as Big. He just rap the words and didn't bring nothing to the narrative. When you hear Big rap it, you hear the storytelling and the changing of tones. The song and beat go hard, I always like the song but hearing Big rap the lyrics makes me mad. I know he was looking out for his crew but he should of just rapped "White Chalk Part II" it would of been another Junior Mafia Classic. It is still Classic but again he didn't rap it as good as Big. Here are the lyrics:

THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. - WHITE CHALK PART II (REFERENCE)

Here’s the situation, Lar's (Larceny) got shot but he facin/heaven or hell but he livin to tell who fuckin did it/I got my grimey down with it/just as grimey as me, slimey as me check it/I got long list of names and addresses/even go to the store where his mommy buys her dresses/

she going to be the 1st one to ride the Hearse son/worst comes to worst I’ll kill his sister, I know he’ll miss ya/then it’s the family other half of me, them niggas scared me of me/I hope they prepared to be

/shot at, hit up with baseball bats/throw in the back of the AC in wit a trunk full of rats

/Drive to Brooklyn to back take to the stairwell/ way up in the back where the bums sleep at

/Look in the eye “you wanna die don’t you, if you change everything you did you would won’t you” But you can’t/cause my brother can’t breathe watching him bleed in the hospital/I had to leave.

All I want to do is kill your crew/your grandma might get wet on the church house steps

/so keep respect whatever, showing the meaning of pressure, killin faggots niggas like ya’ll for pleasure.

You can’t measure, the pain that’s inside homicide, you can run but you can’t hide

/When the benz with the tints in front of your residence/Everybody on the stoop getting hit”

It's a reference track from the Remix of "White Chalk" from the Junior Mafia album. It was featured on the "original gangsters" soundtrack:

It's funny though cause when another rapper does Big bars it doesn't sound the same as Big rapping it. LOL @ Big's reference tracks being classics. He wrote damn near all his crew verses from that era.

nah, it showed how average the verse is and dude's just nut riding to the grave.

If the lyrics were just typed no one will be saying it's goat quality.

SMH at bafoonery.

LOL @ Biggie's unreleased bars from an era long gone being better than half these rappers out today. Shout out to Christopher Wallace...nigga's influence on the game is mad crazy. Even crazier that people don't even recognize that shit.

Actually when the Junior Mafia artist spits it, it's not as dynamic. It's not the same. Sure Big wrote the words but when you hear him spit it, you hear the storytelling. The Flow. Larceny just didn't capture the verse the same way. Big rapping it you understand, you see his words cause he was so visual. That line about getting dudes moms on the Church House Steps or throwing the dude in the truck full of rats. I mean again the visual. Sure someone could type the lyrics and may not get it as lyrical but that's what made Big great.

His bars when he spit them you understood how lyrical they were cause he had an amazing delivery and flow. Most people never heard "White Chalk part II" so they are hearing these bars for the 1st time now. Then they go and listen to the Junior Mafia version and they get the difference. Only Kim and Cease could deliver Big's Bars kinda the way he intended. But most of those Junior Mafia dudes weren't rappers but street dudes. So yea they can read the lyrics but they can't get the flow or cadence that Big had.

This verse is from the Junior Mafia era and I think "Conspiracy" is actually a slept on LP. Sure everyone loves "Get Money, Playa's Anthem and I need you tonight with Aaliyah" but there are other fire tracks. Knowing that Big wrote probably the whole LP really makes the lyrics strong even though the emcees aren't. Overall it's a solid LP that deserves a 2nd listen:
