Like stepping into a time machine. Shows how hard it is to be a good emcee, and BIG did it with ease. 2nd nature, props for sharing.

I would agree that this is the hardest bars of the verse. Big wanted him to understand how ruthless he was before he killed him. I also like his cadence on that last line in his verse when he says:

"The Benz with the Tints in front of your Residence, everybody on the Stoop getting Hit"

LOL @ all us thirsty for a new Biggie verse in 2012, 15 years after his death. Again even his Reference tracks have artistic value, crazy.

thats cause your boy only has two albums for people to listen too...

Actually Ready To Die and Life After Death was 3 LP's since one was a double LP. If you also add in all Big's callabo's, B-sides, Remixes we are talking over 8 albums worth of material. People love to say "Big only had 2 albums" as if those 2 albums are the only rhymes he ever put out. One great thing about Big's verses is as I said, he goes in every time so all of his verses hold up even all these years later.

BIG wrote about 90% of Conspiracy by himself (if not more), co produced & co-wrote Hardcore (some say he ghostwrite about 60% of it), & wrote for Puff on NWO all while simultaneously recording LAD. If his crew weren't such talentless leeches (except Kim) we prolly could've gotten 2 additional albums from BIG.

Those multis.

Christopher Jordan Wallace Jr. is following his dad footsteps. At the age of 16 he has 2 movies under his belt and people close to him says he is slowing learning how to rap and will be a rapper. According to people close to him, he's been practicing and recording rhymes on the low. On his twitter account he calls himself "LITTLE BIGGIE" which is a play on his Dad's name "Biggie Smalls". Will the flow be passed down? We will see. He did rap alongside his dad on "One More Chance" on the "Notorious" Soundtrack.

is it true that big had a triple album planned after LAD? when I was just a lurker on this board I remember reading that. can't remember who said it

Biggie plans after "Life After Death" was to do "The Commission" LP with Jay which was suppose to come out in 1998, then he would drop another Lil Kim Solo, A Cease Solo and a Camron Debut. Then by 2000 he was going to drop "Born Again". It was originally going to be called "The Black Album" but before his death Biggie changed his mind and wanted the title to be "Born Again" to keep with the religious themes of his debut and sophomore album. It was going to be a Triple LP and if he got the chance to drop that it would of shut the game down.

94-97

Ready To Die (Writer)

Conspiracy (Executive Producer, Producer, Writer)

Hard Core (Executive Producer, Producer, Writer)

Life After Death (Double LP) (Producer, Writer)

No Way Out (Executive Producer, Writer)

So you have to look at all the songs he did for all those albums. Then when you factor in Callabo's, B-sides and Remixes we are talking 8 albums of Material if each album had about 15 songs on it. The reason a lot of people think Big has such a small catalog is that they aren't aware of a lot of his collabo's. Big did a lot of underground callabo's a lot of people don't know about. Back in 2009 there was a "Biggie: Library of a Legend" and it had over 7 Discs of songs.

Thanks but if I ever did a Blog it would be about Entertainment in general but it would be Hip Hop as well as Film oriented.

@Rapmastermind

That doesnt matter those albums like Hard core and No way out still fall under the artist they were released under not Biggie.

and how many of those remixes and collabos and B-sides did he do.

were those 7 disc unreleased songs ?

Yo, stop giving Biggie so much credit.

Nigga ONLY had 2 albums b. Point blank end of discussion. Also, I repeat Biggie had his hooks and beats picked for him by Puffy... he wasn't a great overall artist.

So....niggas are really still arguing with rapmastermind about Biggie? Duke would have taken a bullet for Biggie if he could have.

the shit i dont understand about folk like you is, if 95% of the hip hop fans say big is a top 10 of all time, why do you disagree so tough? are you smarter thn the 95%? u speak for all of hip hop? even if u dont like biggie, isnt the fact that 95% of fans say he one of the best enough for you to say aiight maybe he has some skills?

i mean u say he only have 2 albums. those 2 albums are filled with quotables people still use today. biggie has songs still played on radio today, and he has been dead for almost 17 years. if u think rick ross or wayne or 2chainz or drake or whoever is hot right now, will have songs played on radio 17 years from now, you are mistaken.

biggie only has 2 albums, youre right. but he also has at least 15-20 songs that were his or that he was featured on, that are straight bangers that are classic material. niggas only hope to have 5, he has at least 15. you can't even name more than 10 rappers who have that many smashes, and he did it all basically in 3 years. 94-97. think back to 94, you had rappers like bush babies and fu shinckens and das efx. you hear any of them on the radio recently? yet juicy still gets played.

the fact he still even get talked about shows how good he was. why you sitting around not acknowledging this?

again if u dont like him, thats fine. but aint no way u can sit here saying he aint shit. gtfoh.

Sounds like the flow with different/similar lyrics from an 'Life After Death' album, like the track 'Somebody's Gotta Die' or something... Great drop!!!

Can I get a summary, b?

For anyone that missed it. Hearing stuff like this only makes me miss Biggie more. He had so much more to do but the Hip Hop Gods felt we should only get a glimpse of this once in a lifetime genius.
