but wait
if i unlock a phone .... say a verizon phone, then i want to activate it on a sprint account, wouldnt i have to take it to sprint in one way or another?? this means that they would have to know the phone is unlocked for them to go thru the process of activating it.
why would it be illegal when sprint can just say "this phone did not originate on our network so you'll have to buy a new one"
it doesnt make sense. when a phone is activated, isnt there a series of numbers that are attached to the phone that have to be plugged in for the service to activate and be sent to that particular phone?? its the same process that connects them to how much data/minutes you use.
this smells like they are cutting out the little guy to me. some wal mart bullshit
