fuck a nigga gone tell you wtf you can do with some property you on? The US Govt is outrageous...next they gone be tell niggaz its illegal to put anything other than 93Octane in their cars yet still sell 87

Nowadays, we really don't own anything. We purchase the right to use other's products. Sad but that's what it has become. People unlocking phones were making crazy profit off it and I bet that's why they stopped it.

but wait

if i unlock a phone .... say a verizon phone, then i want to activate it on a sprint account, wouldnt i have to take it to sprint in one way or another?? this means that they would have to know the phone is unlocked for them to go thru the process of activating it.

why would it be illegal when sprint can just say "this phone did not originate on our network so you'll have to buy a new one"

it doesnt make sense. when a phone is activated, isnt there a series of numbers that are attached to the phone that have to be plugged in for the service to activate and be sent to that particular phone?? its the same process that connects them to how much data/minutes you use.

this smells like they are cutting out the little guy to me. some wal mart bullshit

smh

I think it's more just a way for the companies to keep their exclusive incentives exclusive. Think about it. Verizon has the Droid line. They market the Droid line in a way such that if people want those phones they need to sign a Verizon contract. If you get the DNA and unlock it and then use it on AT&T, then you're cutting out Verizon. That would be bad if a lot of people did that considering they probably pay for exclusive rights to certain phones.

no one wants a high ass cell phone bill with at&t,tmobile and Verizon.I'm glad companies like Straight Talk and Other popular prepaid spots are around.
