The author of this article forgets that there was black outrage over those Addidas with shackles and niggas are definitely not checking for Mitt Romney, regardless of how many Young Money endorsements he gets.
There IS consolidarity in Black communities, though not always genuine and persistant. However, the loud angry individual is often times erratic, unstable, and many times full of hypocrises.
The rapper who said "LORD GIVE ME A SIGN" was/is a crackhead. The rapper who said "And still I see no changes, all I see is racist faces" was last seen kicking the dogshit out of a nigga in a casino. The rapper who said "George Bush doesn't care about Black people" and "when he get on, he'll leave your ass for a white girl" apologized to Bush and... you get the picture.
The angry Black man made it hard for his descendant, the black man with a reason to be angry, to be taken seriously. NIGGAS don't wanna listen to Lupe Fiasco or Big KRIT because of understandable cynicism. They out here like "shutup nigga stop hatin get money u mad u mad" instead of "that nigga got a point, we need to get our shit together and support one another".
